Could a single trader and/or guild bribe police to let them import and export illegal items? Would the bribe be in the form of money or would the police buy and expensive item from the trader for 1 credit?

Hi I downloaded the episode 2 demo and it installed fine but whenever I try start it my hard drive acts busy for 5 seconds and then then stops and its like I never tried to open it. My computer specs are: 400 mhz Pentium II processor 128 mb of ram 8 mb Viper video card Sound Blaster AWE64 Windows 98 DirectX 8

What's "active worlds" and how do you get there?

The problem that I mentioned after happening 2 or 3 times in a row hasen't happened in a while but if it happens again I'll make another post.

Hi, I recently downloaded the 180MB version of the BCM demo. My computer has in most areas the recommended requirements and at the least it has the minimum. At first the game ran perfectly but the next day when I tried to open it it froze before even opening without any error message or anything and my computer is even crashing outside the game now. So if I read the GCO FAQ file right then a bunch of traders could get together, pool their resources, and colonize a planet for mutual protection without becoming a corporation or would they have to become one to do that?

I can't remember the first computer game I played but I can remember the first GOOD computer game I played..Star Control II. One of the best sci-fi adventure games ever...I still have it too and play it every once in a while.

How would we get a starbase though and I wonder if we could build our own planetary defense fleet?

I was wondering if this was possible (and if anyone would want to do it.) If in GCO could a bunch of traders get together and colonize a planet for mutual protection and eventually make one big trader planet where we would be relatively safe from raiders and mercenarys and we could branch out independently from there but would always have something to fall back on?
