No. Yet, the CTRL+V thing said it was v2.9 when I was in the game.

I have patched to vesion 2.9. I installed the mapack. And...There are no cities on the planets. Any ideas?

I load some marines into a shuttle. I land on the ground. I deploy them. They run around like the cute little fairies they are. Now, I'm thinking...Why? Tis nifty, but what purpose does it serve? So, I'll ask here. Why in the world would I need/want to deploy ground troops to planets?
