  2. try disabling any anti-virus software including your BIOS virus protection. This is the only way I could produce a similar fault. Should do this when installing any thing that causes an install problem. p.s scan the program first and then shut down your anti-virus programs. [ 06-02-2001: Message edited by: Falcon ]

thats pretty brave. putting a computer together without any idea or instructions should have just hoyed it over your shoulder in the first place. Dam what are all this little cylindrical looking things in that plastic packet for to hold the ashtray

Try 98 online updates! i had this problem a while ago with a different program. A reinstall of 98 fixed it. Tech support is always!!! easier sitting in front of the computer thats got the problem. I'm not reponsible for any benign descisions made on my part!! [ 05-29-2001: Message edited by: Falcon ]

it could just be your cpu bus speeds are set wrong. Check your jumper settings on the motherboard do this before you worry about changing your power supply. Make sure you set them for the correct speed of your cpu!!! [ 05-29-2001: Message edited by: Falcon ]

  12. I just have to say that I reckon that BCM is a pretty major upgrade to an already great game. The new features on the Demo like the on screen Icons are no problems, the mission coming up in the mission control part of the comlink instead of the normal com is great. Great graphics, game physics. Only miss on the demo was turnig off the Z buffer (wow that was hard)I actually read the files for installing the game so had no problems installing and running it. Looking forward to the next episode of the demo and the full version.

  14. quote:Originally posted by Cmdr Nova: Sometimes it shows the error, other times it just goes back to the desktop, and yet again, there are times where my computer locks up, and I am forced to hard reboot (pull the plug and put it back in, because my power button only turns on the comp and is controlled by bios). Try pushing the power button and holding for five to ten seconds. It will then reboot oops turn off [ 05-23-2001: Message edited by: Falcon ]
