  1. Uh oh, will Shirley sue me for the things I said to him? Oh well, not to worry, I've got two lawyers ready to defend me for free. Mom, dad, I love you.
  2. quote:Well, if there was a switch that would turn it [Net] all off, IÔÇÖd be the one to flip it without so much as a second thought. They can blame it on me. Why not? I am Derek Smart - industry rebel - remember? I would gladly turn it off, man.Don't you dare do any such thing. If you do, I might actually have to leave the house once and awhile for entertainment
  3. In the olden days in Japan, the women are expected to comit sepaku when their husband dies. Now thats what I call loyalty!
  4. quote:Originally posted by Vanethian: Another cool thing is that also many italian adults are mad about oriental culture, cartoons and products. Do these includes Italian women? If so, does a "semi-oriental" guy counts as one of their interests?
  5. I hate you!!! I looked straight at it, closely without seeing the rest of the replies first. Now my fist hurts from punching my monitor.
  6. Does this mean the curse that plagues Trek games are still on? Damn, I was hoping for this game to end it. But then again I won't know for sure if its bad without trying it out first right. Being a Trekker, I get dissapointed easilly though, like missiles in SFB. I just like the continuity, thats all. [ 03-15-2002, 15:07: Message edited by: Fendi ]
  7. Women nowadays.....they'd shack up with your best mate the minute they think you are dead. At least he doesn't have to pay alimony right?
  8. Sorry to hear about it mate. But thats just the way the world is nowadays. You should've put in an alarm and imobilizer. At least you don't have "car-jacking" to worry about like we do in the UK.
  9. quote:Originally posted by Vanethian: I only practice Boxing. I don't think you would have a chance against a good boxer. No "bruce lee tricks"... just a good blow in your face. Goodnight...Lol! Get a tape of the first UFC and re-post that statement with a straight face. I used to do some boxing(got to learn how to take a punch sooner or later), Thai Boxing (Trained for a few month in Chonburi), Taekwondo (got a black belt here) and some grappling (ground fighting training mostly). I know what you mean about boxing though, a single strong uppercut could win you a fight in less than a few seconds.
  10. Happy birthday Nova!!
  11. quote:think that they did that with Star Trek: Voyager: Elite Force...Nope, seems more like a Half-Life mod to me. I got it, played it for 3 hours, got bored. quote:Nah, it was Starfleet CommandIt would've been nice, but they had way too many non-standard ships in it, if you know what I mean. And where the hell did the missiles come from? I'll just wait till Bridge Commander gets to England. But its damn hard to please me after immersing myself in BCM, hence haven't bought a single game since I got BCM, which is weird considering I buy a few games a month on average.
  12. Man you never told me you had an evil twin Ep5? From the wrting style itself we can all tell who it was. He never seems to give up for some reason.
  13. quote:Originally posted by Blades: Paddy, did you cry too when Thatcher was ousted? Thatcher was never ousted, she still runs the country. You just don't know it.

  15. quote:Originally posted by Blades: Shave that upper lip of theirs and they make a damn fine sight. You wouldn't say that about Jessica Alba would you? I mean my kid would get really ticked off if you said that her future step mother had a beard...
  16. One word that keeps me hooked on that show...Romy. She is hot! hot! hot! hot! hot!!
  17. 2 years ago, I read a magazine (can't remember which one) and there were three games that caught my eye and that was BCM, Star Shatter and STBC. From playing the Full-Version of BCM and Star Shatter demo, I haven't been dissapointed at all. And now SC says that STBC is good, well, it just proves to show that Fendi has good tastes in games. The only downside of ordering STBC is the shipping costs to Europe which makes the grand total of the game to $90 odd dollars. edit ~ so do you guys think they've finnally broken the Star Trek games curse? edit2 ~ quote:And once you've played it. Just think, in about 18 months, you'd have an entire ship - an entire ship - to command.I've just clicked on. 18 months is just about perfect for me. I get my holidays then. I know, I'm a bit slow today. [ 02-16-2002, 07:51: Message edited by: Fendi ]
  18. I think its mostly to do with r/l. The reason why I posted non-stop before X-mas was because I was on holiday from university. Now I'm lumbered with tons of course work that I'm pulling my hair everyday (I also notice that its slightly receeding at 19yrs old). Don't worry though as after April (when I do my finals) I'll be back spamming this board again. For now, even though I check the board almost everyday, I'll not post as much as I'm normally too tired to think of something witty which is a trademark of a fendi post.

  21. quote:31) If we ask what's wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like nothing's wrong. We know you're lying, but it's just not worth the hassle. And that my friends, is how i almost ruined my marriage. [ 02-01-2002, 15:13: Message edited by: Fendi ]
  22. Pfft if in a thousand years, mankind is still stuck in the world of newtonian physics for space flight, I guess we wouldn't have progressed much. I mean think about it, our moblie phone is evolving by the day. Hell, one of my lecturer is going to be the first human being with a chip interfaced (Prof. Warwick) into one of his arm. I guess there shouldn't be any Newtonian physics for space travel in the future. Besides, my warmonger is slow enough thank you without being stuck with primitive Newtonian thrusters.

  24. quote:Originally posted by Gordon: The last thing the CO would want is for this to show up in lets say your local newspaper. If the one that did not make the call is privy to that info I would expect him to spill his guts to save his ... [ 01-22-2002: Message edited by: Gordon ] Ever heard of cover ups? If there's anything that I've learnt from X-files, it is not unknown for any government agencies to "silence" someone that might prove to be detrimental to their department. The truth is out there. I'm just kidding with you $ilk, the most these guys will get is a slap on the wrist though so don't bank on getting them fired. You can however get your revenge on them back once you become a Sherrif. But then again thats a bad idea according to Bob Marley.
  25. Wasn't Aramike also a reviewer in the past before becoming a 3000ad moderator? I seem to remember this when I was clicking on the gaming links on my AOL account (a long long time ago so don't make fun of me).
