  1. I wont be buying the game till September when I actually get to go to Florida for my holidays. Because EBworld America has exclusive rights for was it 6 month, the game would then be released in America to other outlets. Then its the extra couple of month wait for it to arrive here. By then GCO (fingers crossed) would be out and everyone would have had some experience in the game and the people here would be newbies. I guess the three month wait would be worth it.....unless SC (please, please, please...) would somehow convince EB to sell the game in its store in UK. I don't even mind waiting the extra month for it. Wait when that happens I'll be on holiday!!! AAAAAAARGH!!
  2. Oh yeah...what if I were to break into 10 Downing Street (Prime Minister's Residence for non-UK people) or Buckingham Palace with a knife or other form of weapon? I'm sure I'll get shot by some guards. Therefore do you think that our lives are less precious than those people?
  3. Tyrrian, I have been following the news of Tony Martin a lot. It seems that he was REPEATEDLY broken into and antagonized by those yobs. You may say that a life is a life and must be valued...true I agree. But when it all comes down to it I would place the life of me, my wife and my baby first. Besides the police did not wanted to help him when it happened. Take it from me he is not the only one. I had problems like this too except that the victim was more like my wife who was pregnant at that time and the burglar tried to hit her? As I said in my old post if anything happened to my kid...I will not let him serve a jail sentence. I would rather kill him and flee to Mexico or other non extradite country. The point is had my wife been armed then he would not have made our lives a living hell after that.
  4. Guys I tend to disagree... The people here in the UK has lost the rights to defend themselves. Tony Martin for example....so he shot a burglar whopeee woo. I know he had an illiegal weapon but who was there to protect him? The pigs? Come on that aint never gonna happen. All the cops care nowadays about are speeding tickets cause they get to keep the money. Now Tony Martin is in jail for life for protecting himself from some idiots in his own home. By prosecuting Tony the goverment has basically given the O.K. for burglars. Now if everyone has the rights to protect themselves with a gun in thier own property then do u think anyone wants to nick stuff from your home? I dont know...maybe Im just angry from my past experience or what. But before we judge other countries look deeply at our selves. Besides a gun could be used as a deterence, like my black belt hanging out of my window. Oh its also a double whammy for me....If I get caught 'defending' myself in my own home I go straight to jail as I stupidly registered myself in martial arts. The law sez 'u can only restrain someone' and 'if they hit u once u can only hit back once'sorta thing. What if u r only 8 stones and your intruder is 16 stones?
  5. I don't really know if calling the police would be a good idea or not. Sometimes these guys won't give a damn unless u a)go over 5 mph on the speed limit or b)other traffic offences. I KNOW from personal experience that they just don't care. When my wife was pregnant a burglar broke into my house (while I was out working). Being a bit of a hot head (bless her) she confronted the burglar (whom she knows the identity) and tried to push him out of the house. He then reacted by shoving her to the ground, proceded to steal a lap-top and left the house as if nothing had happened. Now when I heard about it (five hours later as my wife was still in shock) I decided to call the police. The police DID arrest the guy but he had to be let off because of 'insufficient evidence'. Over the next few weeks the guy tried to wreck havoc on our lives and began scratching my car, breaking the fence and doing all sort of things which caused my wife to have a nervous breakdown (while pregnant). Again I contacted the local bobbies but guess what? insufficient evidence again. After several weeks my wife gave birth to our beautiful kid and I knew if I did nothing my wife and child would be terrorised for the rest of their lives. So I just cracked-up and broke a promise that i have kept to my wife for 2 years - I decided to lay the sh*t out of that heroin induced scum-bag (not really my choice of word to describe this guy but hey). The scariest thing was I enjoyed it and like riding a bike u never forget how to. I ended the fight by putting him in a chock-hold till he passed out and the only thing that stoped me from going any further is the thought of my wife and child living alone with me in jail. Anyway he tried to get me arrested but nobody seems to care and as he was high up on drugs he could not remember when this happened. After that incident he left our estate a week later and was never seen again (its been almost 2 years now). Ironically i DID get in trouble with the police a week later. I got caught doing 85mph in a 70 mph zone. Now I don't really think my path is the one u should follow but please try to think of the consequences when u get involved (by calling the cops or by taking matters in your own hands). Remember the most important things when reporting to the police are witnesses and tons of evidence. Otherwise it will all be in vain and guess who this guy is gonna look for next? Good luck and hope you get to resolve this soon.
  6. Does anyone knows when BCM is gonna arrive in England? I mean we have demos and everything from the local magazines but no release dates. (not even from EBworld in this country)
