I've got to admit, you haven't changed at all when compared to the old picture and that sickens me. I'm only in my mid-20's um I mean 19 and yet I look like I'm 30 years old. The world is so unfair to me....
  3. Well SC tell her to give me a call when she's 18 as I too look young for my age.
  4. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: Nobody asked you to upgrade all of them to XP. You should only be concerned about the machine you are playing XP1 on. Hehe should've thought about that. Anyway WinMe has basically reared its ugly head more than once. Yeah I'd probably get XP just before Xp1 comes out. But I'm open to alternatives though (Win2000).
  5. The problem with me upgrading to XP is that I have several computers in my house and as I'm a student, I can't really afford to buy several licenses. I'm not so sure if I'll go for 2000, but my friend too has told me that XP is better for games...
  6. Hmm If I read that post correctly, that means that XP1 will come out in two months?

  8. quote:Originally posted by Valiant_One: FOX NEWS and AP (Jan 09, 2002) True stuff. I wholeheartedly agree with that article. By removing guns from the bormal public, all that the government is doing is making us defenceless from attacks. Recently a man was stabbed with a screwdriver when he tried to stop his car from being stolen. Where were the police then? Tony Martin, a man that has been tormented by burglers, is now behind bars for defending himself and his property. How does the police justify this? If they were doing their job in the first place, an innocent man wouldn't be behing bars. The answer to my first question is that they were too busy raking up money from traffic offences. A traffic police even blatantly admited that he would rather solve traffic crimes as it is much easier to solve traffic crimes than real crimes. Unfortunately Britain is run by beurocrats that does not listen to their people. I have sooo many bad experience with the cops that I have totally lost any ounce of faith in them. Here's another unrelated clincher, if an intruder injures themselves in your property, they can automatically claim compensation. Whats up with that??
  9. PC Gamer is where I first found out about BCM. When I couldn't get the demo to work I went out and bought myself a copy of PC Zone to get the demo from it. After spending many hours trying to figure out what was happening (including defragging my HD) I read the VCF and turned off the Z-buffer on my graphics card as instructed. Ahhh to be a newbie again.
  10. If you want a WRX then go for the Mk1 version and not the crappy ugly looking Mk2. The Mk1 is far far better looking and will actually outaccelerate the Mk2 (unmodified in both cases). I've got the Mk1 which I chose over the Mk2 on the basis above. Oh yeah the only thing that the Mk2 beats the original version is the top end speed by 1 mph. Oh yeah another good car that I would recommend is the Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution series. I almost got myself an EVO III while shopping for the car but the looks of the WRX just enthraled me.
  11. quote:Originally posted by Captain Dread: Lets all go get him the license! One of you with a lot of money, go buy it from whoever has it now. :-) Sure sir I'll just break into my piggybank and hope to conjure up $2 million to contribute. Nah realistically, its going to take much more than that and loads of other legal hassle. Personally thats why I like original games more as you are not confined to a certain set universe and if you break it, you won't have fans complaining about it (remember missiles in SFC?). If there's any mod I want for BCM it's going to have to be Gallion's "Final Stand Script". *hint hint*
  12. quote:Originally posted by Jaguar: IMy advice would be this, use the internet to find yourself a car. Forget those goofy salespeople. Don't do that unless you want to go through the hassle that I'm going through. Sure its cheaper but is the hassle worth it? Go to a bank and take out a personal loan. Then search around for a good second hand car. Make sure you either have a qualified mechanic with you. Once you've found the one you want get an HPI check on it to see its not been stolen. Whatever you do do not buy the first car you see. Trust me on this one, I've been through more cars than almost anyone here on this forum.
  13. quote:Originally posted by Emmett.hendrick: Finally somebody who spent some time with BCM before writing their opinions. That is very true. One cannot make a judgement about BCM until they have played it for at least a day. The scope is too big to just peg BCM as a single genre.
  14. SC I prefer your original skull and crossbone (Jolly Rogers) avatar. The one you have now is cool, but the other one scares the hell out of me for some reason.
  15. There must be a curse when it comes to Babylon5 stuff. It started out as a great contender to Star Trek yet ended up as a disaster (Crusade). The B5 game from Sierra has been on my wishlist for years yet they canned it. This is probably why I haven't bought a Sierra game lately.
  16. You know what would actually be funny? If SC locked the avatar options and everyone who hasn't changed their avatars are stuck with the smurf avatar.
  17. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: 2002 is goin to be a landmark year for the BC series. Just wait. Hehe, can't wait for the XP addons and especially for the holy grail of all programs BCTC at the end of it. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I'm also looking forward to MP so everyone here can have their revenge on me.
  18. This is sooo cool. I chose this avatar because I guess it best represents me.
  19. quote:Originally posted by Tyrn: Friend of mine quit by using cinnamon flavored mouthwash, toothpaste and grapefruit juice. Sounds odd but he swears by it. Tried it. Doesn't work I'll still start again after a few weeks. Didin't you guys remember, I did quit last time?
  20. Hmmm but then again my dad has always told me "Whatever happens son, never give up!! If at first you don't succeed, pick up the pieces and try again" Bah I'll still quit tommorrow....
  21. Just one and thats the hardest one for me....to quit smoking. I've tried nicotine patches, hypnotism (which by the way convinced me that 50 quid a session is worth it and Elvis is still alive) and all manner of gimmicks. I've managed to quit a few months at a time with a year being my all time best record. This time though I want to quit for good. Therefore, I shall quit tommorrow...
  22. Lol I shudder to think what gets stolen from you in real life with that kind of luck. Just turn off launch control when there's an intruder onboard. Shuttles don't come cheap you know....
