Yeah I take on stations too. But I have another strategy. When entering the starsystem I draw attention from the stations figthers. I battle them a while (rather far away form the station) and when there is no figther left I make some rounds round the station so it blow away as much missiles as possible. When I have a nice chain of missiles after me i turn to them and use my retro rockets to gain security distance. Then I target them and destroys them one by one (M key). Now the stations only defense is its IOD. I lay myself in PTA distance and fires with the IOD (80% intensity). When th station release its bursts of IOD I just changes my course and/or speed by moving up or down and using retro rockets. The IOD will miss becouse Im not in the spot the comp thaugth I would be. When Its emitting the SOS signal I dock with it and VOILA, Station captured!In about 10 minutes, with almost no damage and without aids as cloking systems, interceptors and missiles I have now conqured the enemy! You could ofcourse use them if you want, only make things better (faster) Great way to gain EP and medals on

A place I usually hoover around in is the Lennen planet with sourroundings. All the sudden I found myself in a battle against the TER/RAI Spacestation there. With the PTA taking care of figthers and incoming missiles and with a special use of the cloaking and EMD systems I took up the battle. With only IOD and crab mines I damaged the station badly. When only a small bit of hull was left I stopped shooting... What if I'm destroying this station now? Would it be the end for the ter/raiders in the Lennen sector? What if im taking on to other stations and destroys them... Do they respawn? If not... it would be a shame to destroy them Hey you, remember what I said about NO spelling errors in forum topics? Thanks to you dudes, I can now wake up in the morning and not feel that im totaly empty inside! Many great thanks to you for taking ur time.. This with the ins/raid/trade careers I still don't get When I "Start a new game" there is only two options available: 00 - Free Fligth 01 - ACM How to take on to the other missions? Do this have anything to do with the [Q/A] button in the bottom of the screen? When i press it it sais that im missing BC3000AD.DES and the game hangs...

I thougth BCM was not released yet but still you ask ingame questions... I don't get it... And yes I have ReadThe****ingManual but still, these questions have to be asked. Sorry all out there who would probably take every chance to place a newbie in an airlock and then with a sudden smile of hatred eject him while in hyperspace, but I really gotta ask these questions... 1) I can't download the missionpackfile for BC3000AD. It's simply is'nt there... 2) After running ACM for a while my computer tend to get REALLY laggy. It happens a bit on in the first mission (when to escort a diplomat ship designated DIPLOMAT1). I have a pentium 333m/hz with 64mb ram and a voodoo3 card (16mb) so I dont think my machinery is the prob. 3) You all play BC3000AD 2.09, rigth? Something other is not on the market, rigth? 4) As you probably understand from my previous questions I will really have help from the famous trainingscript. Can't find it though... Hope Im not as much trouble as I think iam =)

I think it is becouse the autopilot system maximizes the enginepower in a way to make your ship go as fast as possebly. I think you can do this manually by using the power allocation panel. Well this was just philosophy, im a newbie
