Um... when I load the game it says the version is 1.0.08 RC 13 of July 7 2002. Is that a mistake?

I installed the patch over version 1.0.07 and when I clicked on the bcm.exe icon, the program didn't startup. Just to make sure I did a fresh install and then I installed the 1.0.07 patch and then the 1.0.08 rc12 patch on top of that. I don't know if anyone else has this problem.

Attack the 2 closest ships first. Order ship 1 and 2 to attack devices. Order ship 3 and 4 to drain shields. Order ship 5 to close in, but do not activate any of its weapons (youÔÇÖll need them later). Once the shields of a ship are down order ship 3 and 4 to destroy the ship. Once these two ships are destroyed, attack the other three ships Keep clear of the asteroid field!. Order ship 5 to close in, but still do not activate any of its weapons. Only proceed once all enemy ships have left the area or have been destroyed. Attack the asteroids (not the outpost) Order ship 1-4 to attack devices. Before proceeding make sure that all the asteroids except the outpost are completely cleared from devices. Attack the outpost Order ship 1-3 to retreat from the outpost. Order ship 4 and 5 to attack the outpost with missiles (Artillery Attack). Once you are out of missiles order all your ships to attack the outpost with everything they have got. Especially order ship 5 to deploy bombers. Order all your ships to retreat from the outpost once the core of the outpost is shot dysfunctional. Order all your ships to close in on the exit point. Once all the ships are close they will jump out of the system together.

Sc, I've lost my serial number alsoe, I've tried emailing support a couple of times to get it, but I never got any response, and I never post because I can't set my sig without it. Hello, this is my first time posting on these forums so don't rain down hell if I'm doing anything wrong. I've been playing BCM since I got it and its a great game, especially love the freedom. Anyways on to my problem. I notice everytime I try to access the "Miscon" screen the game would crash and go back to my desktop. And another thing is, whiles I'm playing the game maybe between 10-20 min. it would crash back to my desktop. ok here are my system specs. Athlon xp 1900 Epox 8kha+ motherboard Sound Blaster Live! Value Geforce 2 mx400 (pci)- I have an Agp geforce2 ultra which I lent to a friend so I will be getting that back soon. Windows Xp pro Nvidia detonator 23.11 256 ddr ram. and I'm using 1.0.02 RC9 So thats it. Any help would be appreciated. By the way SC great job you're doing by actually interacting with your gamers. I think thats the coolest part of what you are bring to the gaming community. Maybe others will follow.. hehe.
