guys, all I know is that I went to logistix, scheduled a repair for the fc1 main gun. (just like I would for 300AD). They sit around and do nothing, even though I assigned 20 men and have all the parts. They still do nothing. . . So unless the computer automatically assigns flight engineers from the logistix computer, it must have been system engineers. . .

The flight crew refuses to start repairs on my fighters, they start work, and then quit without doing anyting. Also, they won't let it fly when one part is at 99 the rest are at 100. Then they won't repair the one that's at 99, even at a station.

After I install the last patch, the game will show the splash screen and then return to the destop without even launching the game. I have directx 9.0 so it isn't that. I also have Win98 on 1.?? gig machine.

Is there any way to win this? By the time my guns recharge and I reallign my battlecruiser its shields are back up. Mu interceptors are killed instantly, and none of the other ships obey my instructions to attack. As I recall, the ship that is supposed to take it over always fails, its disguised shuttle is no good; or its marines are killed when they get inside; or with my luck, the moment they get in the door they throw the guns down and begin partying and smoking whatever it is these assassins smoke!!
