ohh yes very true, all I was saying is that with no game to play i think a lot of people may have lost interest in the fleets, and that is the reason for the current slump in fleet membership. I'm certain that will change once the game is out there and is being played

I dont want to get anyone into trouble, but generally all BC websites i've visited have thier own BC webrings owned by themselves

I agree with MrkGrismer here. I too want to wait till i've played BCM before making a decision about a fleet (although i'm already leaning towards ISS, it matches my style of play) People want to get into a game before they make a commitment to it. Once the game has hit shelves more people will get hooked. Perhaps one of the problems is that the fleet system started too early and people lost interest with no game to play. I'm sure they'll come back though once they have played the game. The allure of the BC universe is to great.

Hello, I've been reading through the ISS website and I feel that of all the fleets i've seen, the ISS fits the way I play the best. I've been playing bc3000ad v2.09 (the free version) and I am most comfortable in the Galcom regions (mainly due to the free repairs at galcom HQ! ). So I would like to join the ISS. BUT I am worried about how much it will cost. does anyone know how much the SC is going to charge to play online? I live in south africa see and the exchange rates are ridiculous. If I could get some info, it would make my decision easier.

lord david, really nice site, I might look into joining once i get BCM. lol everyone wants to be the good guys, but with no bad guys the good guys are useless on a sidenote, am I the only one that has noticed the huge amount of BC webrings that contain only one or two sites? everyone seems to want their own official BC webring. why doesn't everyone join ONE webring? (the SC's being the obvious choice, it being his game and all) just a thought, use it, don't use it, whatever.......

thanks for the welcome nova, i'm glad we're all one big happy family again oh btw, i get the slowdown in bc3000ad too. it goes away after a few minutes though. lol I guess that REALLY helps doesn't it? I cant wait to get into BCM with the direct3d and windows support!

My first post *****es!!! (apologies to SC) I've been waiting for BCM in anticipation since I pre ordered on sept 8, I watched with dread as my currency sank against the Dollar after a certain terrorist incident, that need not be named, and now finally it's on it's way to me here in South Africa. For a while i was concerned that I would not be able to buy BCM for financial reasons but now, it's payed for and on its way!!!! (thanks to Jen from BMTMicro, you are to be commended for your great service) Big up to 3000ad for creating such a brilliant game. I've got a countdown of my own now, it's for when the postman gives me my copy of BCM!!!
