  1. Dang, DS. I just love hearing you talk the development of your games. No I guess that Derek D (SC) wasn't you? Cause I thought it was then I saw dsmart and it looked like you agreed with yourself.
  2. Well at least they want to keep a good reputation
  3. http://www.tvtome.com/Angel/ Just curious how some of the critics here either have seen or heard of Angel. I'm not talking about the girl drama that is Buffy. But Angel, whose whole premise was redemption.
  4. I agree with street about Fantasy being presented as Science. However, I'm only posting this even though it's off topic cause I haven't seen any warnings given out yet, I love Enterprise. I'm not a big ST fan, I'm only 20. But what I do like from the 3rd season is T'Pol having to deal with strong emotions, however, I don't like that it seems to lead to her stripping or getting together with Trip. It doesn't seem like they have anything, but a physical attraction to each other. And yea I like Jolene, but if I wanna see soft porn I got the net. When I want drama and good solid stories that's what tv and movies are for. True, I don't like that the first ship is called Enterprise, but the character development of Archer is a good watch. But it seems to me that Hoshi, Reed, and Phlox (sp?) get pushed aside when it comes to good writing. I mean the actor who plays Phlox has small scenes which is whenever they need the doctor to explain stuff, " Doctor's Orders" was the only ep that had him on set for more than an hour or so. But as long as it's on the air there's still time for improvements. I wonder have any of you seen Angel while it was still on the air? I'm gonna create a new thread for that.
  5. I agree, hope they do well with this and focus on making it fun and as much star trek as the TV shows. I just hope I don't need to get an advanced warp theory degree

Now I see what SC meant in the RE2 thread. I LOVED IT!! 15/10 If I had time I would've saw it again. I only saw it recently. My only grup (sp?) was that the scene with donkey making his pop noise I saw on a frozen treat commercial so I knew it was coming The first one I liked, but this one I LOVED! Great movie, simply the best. However, if it showed some scenes from the future Knightblade and BC Series games coming up I would have liked it more. *hint* *hint* By the way anyone know who sings "I need a hero"?
  7. Yea I saw it on MSN yesterday, crazy British.
  8. Oh NO! My mom just got a puppy today, I'd better call the police SOON! Good for the puppies!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  9. Which is why after beta I said bye-bye to my clan and didn't think twice. SWG isn't good in anyway. I mean yeah it's set in the SWG world, but what good does it do for someone who wastes hours and days to weeks and years so that one day the game will give them the label of Jedi and then if their lucky to keep it until the game goes offline, they won't have that title no more and will spend hours looking for the next SW game so they could be a "jedi".
  10. Now I watch Enterprise and mind you I'm only 20 so I've only seen ST, TNG, and DS9 by reruns and I love those shows more the last two than the first. This is due to seeing the others before the first which when compared in that order doesn't look good to me. I still like it but I need something that looks like it could be "realisitc". Anyway my only concern about the game is if Sony does it cause I never have like a single online game that have done. Oh and if a MMORPG like ST comes out like DS it will flop. Since that is more Elite Force multiplayer than a BCO-style MMO like ST Online should be.
  11. Um, I tried replacing the original game mp3s with my own (I replace the name of my songs so they were the same as the orig). However when I do the game doesn't play any music at all.
  12. I wonder what the weapons of 3000 will me like?
  13. Now I know I need to know to learn how to dance.
  14. Well I hope they keep searching for him cause I think he's more of a threat than Saddam (sp? oh I don't care)
  15. Somehow that cartoon says it all. Actually some friends of mine last year at college were telling me about the photon drive. Of course they didn't call it that.
  16. I seem to recall in Europe, maybe England. When Spider-man came out they had the rating at a point where kids couldn't see it cause of the blood from Peter Parker. I mean that movie was made for all ages, what's not to like?
  17. quote:Originally posted by Bandus: quote: Now killing is wrong, but if we torture and/or kill the reputed killer are we better? Absolutely. That argument is ridiculous in my humble opinion. I can't stand people saying, "We aren no better than the killer...yada yada yada." BS if ask me. Why? Intent....it's allll about intent....the killers intended to cause pain and death over a video game.....under my belief pain and death should be caused as retribution and punishment for their crime....it's all about intent. Then you intend to cause pain, that is not good that people want to cause pain for any reason that is my belief. Now I never said the we are no better because I understand that we cannot allow them to continue to harm others. However I don't know how far we should go to do so. I mean yes and eye for an eye is understandable, but what do you do if a man rapes a women? Do you rape him? Or send him to prision to be raped? I don't think there is a clear answer and it's those who have no doubt of the answer that I'm scared of.
  18. Hehe this is where it gets complicated. A lawyer isn't responsible if they clear a man of charges of murder and then the man kills again. It's a weird thing, but it's the defense attorney's job to defend his client if his client wishes to plead innocent. Now killing is wrong, but if we torture and/or kill the reputed killer are we better? I don't expect a clear answer since that's pretty murky, but these guys WILL be seen as gulity since they confessed. That's an attorney's worst nightmare as far as trying to do their job. I'd hate to be placed in their positions.
  19. Ubi! Oh great, goodbye Legacy of Kain!

I ain't no freakin Insurgent.. I'm a Devil's Hand Raider, proud and strong! I just had to play as an Insurgent for that game. I know, I doubt anyone couldn't see the [TDH] in your name. I just meant the whole group of people that comprised of the Insurgent group we fought.
  21. Yeah, but something tells me next time I see Shingen he won't be so lucky. Man, Insurgents ARE smarter than I thought.
  22. quote:Originally posted by Marvin: And about GMT: it isn't really GMT ... at least, not during the summer months. As Gordon pointed out to someone who should know better, "real" GMT isn't adjusted for Daylight Savings Time. But (as I replied), according to Bill Gates, everybody is on Daylight Savings so it's best to just ignore the oversight and say, for example, that Eastern Time (Daylight or not) is GMT minus (-) five hours. Or, as Gates' clock puts it (in WinXP): (GMT-5:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada). Do you sleep, Marvin?
  23. Um I'm guessing that planet.html file wasn't corrected with the bad info it has about Venus being a Gas planet. I guess it doesn't matter. So the mineral % can't be changed for a planet?
