The thing that is weird is he doesn't seem to be selling anything, just posting that he wants to buy that kind of character. It just doesn't make sense to me.

So what's the difference between a show about that or the one about Enterprise? @sparky I'm not a Trekkie, I'm only 21. Enterprise was my first ST show from the beginning. I loved it, except for the moments when Hoshi would "lose" her top or the whole decontamination room scene with Hoshi, Reed, and T'Pol. The last season was great except for the last episode. Which was a kick in the face for a season ending, not to mention and series ending. And Scott Bakula wasn't a bad actor, thy haven't given anything for him to work with as an actor except season 3 when he pushed the envelope with how to command during a war. And even that they had to scale. I mean it wasn't Scott Bakula that said, "HEY let's give these guys technology that even the Enterprise didn't have in early TOS". No that mistakes rests on Rick Berman and company. A single actor doesn't break a show, but they can make a show. I mean really, it was the writers and so on, that wanted T'Pol to have sex with Trip and show as much of her body as possible. That was degrading the Trek franchise, not Scott Bakula. Anyway, there won't be a ST series for a long time.

Uh? I thought Star Trek: Enterprise was about a Warp 5 ship?

I've seen it and as far as drug uses I didn't see anything like that. The whole common sense conversation was good, I can't imagine someone to actually be angry at people trying to save their own lines after being fired upon. Also one of the Army guys that loaded the wounded guy into the copter looked like the kid who played the fat kid in The Sandlot. That was cool since I hadn't seen him in awhile. As far as undoing the military, it just shows how things are when people are being shot at and not in the safety of mother America's home bases. I can't wait for the next one, the really shows depths to the characters.

Second Season of Atlantis has started! What's everyone think so far? I love it, new ship, a ZPM, great stuff. Although I am mad they reduced Ford to a recurring role (Which he basically was last year). I mean they weren't giving the actor or character anything to play with. During second to last scene of "Home", when they were in the "gate room" and revealing what they went through, Ford was just standing in the background NOT EVEN TALKING! I blame it on the writers, they went for Sheppard as the Hero and shoved everyone else into the dirt. I related to Ford the most as a young officer. I was interested in knowing if he had any prior experience with the Stargate since he jumped backwards through the wormhole on a trip to a new galaxy. I just hope when he does come back, for good, he's not Super Ford. Anyway, enough of my rant. I love that they are torturing Sheppard with "guilt" or sadness over the lost of Ford. And are really milking the storyline. Imagine, the Wraith created something that feeds on them! Kinda like how the Wraith were created in the first place, kinda.

So which one is better at compressing? I've been using WinRar, but lately I haven't been noticing any compression. If I take a group of pictures that are 1.35 MB then place them into a WinRar file, the WinRar file is 1/35 MB. That's not right, is it?

Hey, I liked the Hulk too. Anyway, what I hate about this movie is that Sue is so friggin young. That I just hate, no offense to Alba, but I rather see someonewith a little age. She still looks like some HS kid. I don't go to movies that look like they have no meat and by what Sciv says I'm glad. Heck I haven't even seen Batman and I wish I had the money, but I can wait.

For me, all the cds I have are used as backups for my HD. Not to mention my access to broadband is as dependable as my access to a gun.

They released a E3 trailer about 3 minutes I heard. I got dialup and basically can't see it until I move in August to my dorm. Anyway you can get it at the website mentioned in the first post or and fansite (like www.sgfiles.com). I'm glad JoWood and Perception are allowing fansites some access to the new stuff. It shows they want the fansite community to get a modding community going and keep the game alive. I wonder though if DS will push back his games to mod for the game??? YEAH RIGHT!!

I saw it tonight at 2. I worked over the actual 9pm showing and Deadzone, NOOO!! I've been looking for Deadzone and now I work BTW I've recently seen the movie and it seemed drastically lighter than the movie.

Interesting, Graphics never impressed me much. I just don't like games like Wind Waker. I just had not interest.

Well look at Halo 2 that was being developed for awhile not 3 years, but close. Then Perfect Dark came out I dunno 1999, 2000? Not the sequel skipped an entire generation of consoles and premires in the next generation. Not to mention MMO's are not easy to make. Just ask SC. He's had the core concepts of his vison for close to a decade I think and now technology is catching up and he is able to expand with UCO and BCO or GC? I forget, sorry. And the fans knew those concepts were in developement for awhile. I think 2001? That's when I got BCM and then I heard of a planned first-person view in ship the SC dropped for better things. Not to mention with Enterprise goen that game is now the only offical ST thing we know for sure is in the works. Just that alone gives it press. I never heard of Perpetual, but I didn't know about 3000ad, Derek Smart, until I got BCM either. Heck, there's a developer in Australia I didn't know about that's developing a game based on one of my favorite shows and it seems their doing pretty good. I'd wait until the company is boughht or we actually see some shots of videos before I pass judgement. Even though I'm not a Trekky and no offense to Derek's great accomplishments, but what they planned (and not everything planned goes in the final product) is everything I dreamed of. Bascially working on a ship and not being the commander. I guess we're get some more news in a year or two.

I hated the last episode, Riker looked too old. And WTF was up with the characters as holograms? That not only ruins anything they said or done. I mean we have seen in ST: First Contact how the future never saw the past as it was, but as they saw it. I loved the second to last episode. That was pretty, but it lasted too short. I agree Manny Coto should have had the Wheel from the beginning.
