Lawsuit: 'Grand Theft Auto' Led Teen to Kill
Captain McMahon replied to Kalshion's topic in PC Gaming & Technology
Exactly, this is similar to soldiers sing the JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS excuse, it didn't help the Nazis when they used it and, as a judge stated, it doesn't hold up in this country's courtroom either. The basic cause is choice, the person chose to grab the gun, to steal the car, to shoot the cops, to blame someone else. You may be exposed to violent media or ordered to do something, but YOU ultimately have the choice of what you do and should accept the consequnces of YOUR actions. -
Stargate SG-1: The Alliance
Captain McMahon replied to Captain McMahon's topic in PC Gaming & Technology
Actually they said it isn't no brain FPS it's an Action game with elements from others. As far as an epic game I wouldn't like that (well I would, but) because the game they have know is a story that happen during season 7 and if it was an epic game then wouldn't you want what happen to the game in the show. If it was an epic game that included making alliances then those allainces (or enemies) should be in the show. Not to mention the alliance between Jaffa, Tok'ra and Taur'i was broken up by the end of season 7, which would be in the game. Just don't worry it's not a no-brain-shooter. -
Stargate SG-1: The Alliance
Captain McMahon replied to Captain McMahon's topic in PC Gaming & Technology
Well they've released the full site: Stargate SG-1: The Alliance They've got Jaffa and a teaser story, but nothing new. The forums are great with the exception of those who though can write, don't seem to actually read anything the devs or the mods post. -
I love Joss Whedon and his ideas and I hope he goes back to tv soon. Even if it is Firefly, Tv is not the same without him. BTW I never saw Firefly, cause I see too many space-scifis as it is.

Firefox - The Next Generation browser
Captain McMahon replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in Science, Technology & Health
A few days after I downloaded this on my comp in my dorm, my mom calls and says she found a free ISP, Firefox. She isn't tech savvy, so I told her she was incorrect and that Firefox is actually like IE, but better since it is targeted less from hackers and thus more secure. -

Don't ya'll forget: Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative Developer Netdevil This game is GREAT! -
Saw it, loved it. What else can I say. Although some things required you to know something from the original I liked it overall. That honking bus joke still gets me. Did anyone notice the policeman in the jail was one of the actors/producers of Reno 911? He didn't say anything, but I thought that was cool. 8/10 Nothing beats the original

What a waste no wonder Marvel is trying to bank on Movies of this great characters. They can't provide good comics anymore. What a shame!

What do you think of the Sci-Fi TV series Stargate SG-1 and what they have done to the BSG series? I'm not mentioning SG-A since it still needs time to get into what's it's talking about and only included BSG because it seemed many have an opinion on it.

quote:Originally posted by Kalshion: Season.... 4 or 5 has that ship in it It belong's to a powerful quiled*sp, what ever those snake lizard creatures are* But I am looking forward to this That's Goa'uld and the Goa'uld that had the ship was Anubis. And the game takes place before season 8. Probably season 6 to season7. -
Is it not possible for a race to develop a method in which the ship uses brakes at a precise amount of pressure to slow the ship down and to keep it from dragging?

I LOVED IT! I was confised when I saw the last episode cause I just thought it was a mini-series and thought I missed something.
-
I was just curious if anyone had any thougths on what happen. I personally saw some awards given to those who I think didn't deserve it, but that's my opinion. Thoughts?

I think the world is scary enough knowing technology like nukes are even feasible and obtainable. I mean on a governmental and perhaps extreme black market hotspots.
