Conscript

Just a question post about design (newbie question in a way). Okay as a Military Commander docked with an exact match Race / Caste starbase, why do you have to pay for everything out of your pocket? (Is it for gameplay related reasons?) Traditionally (in the sense of Military), certain things will be provided to you, loadouts, crew, provisions, and the etc. I know you get initial assests issued to you, even a pay check, but it struck me as odd that the commander has to pocket for missiles and other basic goods that you would think a military commander would have instant access to. I like the Heavy Carrier Nightstar class. Can't beat the look of a Space Carrier in it's glory. Buck there's a document that came with the install called appendix has all the ships listed.

I hate to be the one to point this out but did you just include your CD reg key? Isn't that a big "never do"?

I found the game very liberating. I liked all the freedom given and not the restricting coded path that most games have gone. Found it espically fun when you grounders with your ground vehicle and see them on your screen before they fall off.

Now this is odd. I may be new, but this just seemed like a really weird occurance. During a trip to the planet Pluto, I ran into something. During the hyperspace travel I was magically boarded and had most of my fighter complement taken. My question is how did this happen and how do I stop them from taking my fighters, from boarding my ship in hyperspace, and how do i get my fighters back?

Sorry, Didn't mean to put you through trouble, but updated drivers means three different drivers for my system, (Beta drivers, Primary Company Official Drivers, and of course nvidia). For me each one is needed to run something else that demands different things or produces some other weird error. Don't kill the new guy

Hate to be the one to ask this, but where can one acquire WHQL 21.83. I've scoured the microsoft site with no sucess.

Tried the same thing myself attacked the station it blew up and i wasn't looking in the direction of the explosion and it crashed to desktop. Do not know if it's related or not. I was a terrian Military Commander, on roam. In a darkstar (i think sorry i'm new). I sent my fighters to attacked, then closed in with my main weapon. Fired a salvo of shots off, turned around and heard an explosion. When the explosion was finished it crashed to desktop. I saw a little of it as a came about to starboard. Having the same problems myself. I have a mouse icon but it flickers randomly, at some points during the game i loose it entirely and am stuck with guessing where it is at. Using Microsoft Intellexplorer, driver version 3.20.0.484. Haven't had a single mouse related problem until this game. Also using Geforce2 vid card if that's related.
