To be honest it sounds like you had intruders on board and they loaded up one of your shuttles but obviously didn't get to launch it. You then later launched a shuttle to capture the cargo pods and when you looked at it's inventory you saw the artifacts which had previously been loaded into the shuttles by the intruders. Anytime there are intruders on board, even if they can't launch, you have to check your shuttles cargo for items they might have loaded on board.

I just did the second mission where you have to get diplomat4 to the majoris station and keep an eye on the Tulon station. I follow the diplomat back to the majoris station but just before it's about to dock I get a mission failure message that diplomat4 failed to dock and then diplomat4 docks. I know that the save game files from 1.0 are invalid but are the save game files from 1.0.01 beta invalid as well? If so that would explain my problem.

I've encountered the same problem. I've had systems that were greyed out where I replaced the parts while docked at a station, then when I left the repair was suspended but it wouldn't let me assign anyone to finish the task. On another occasion I had upgraded my reactor put one engineer on the job, upgraded my shields - put 9 on that job. When the shields finished it wouldn't let me assign more engineers to do the reactor (it was highlited in light blue but neither repair nor upgrade where clickable). The repair did finish eventually with the one engineer. On another occasion I had replaced 3 systems on an interceptor (again while docked at a station) after I left the station I was able to assign people to finish the job. When it completed the systems were listed as 100% but the parts were still greyed out and remained that way. [ 11-24-2001: Message edited by: Killzone ]

Whenever I hyperspace to an object (ship, station etc.) and the path takes me through a planet, about 5-10 seconds after I emerge from hyperspace, I get dumped into the atmosphere of the planet I passed through (no matter how far away from that planet I emerged from hyperspace.) This happens to me in both the release version as well as the 1.0.01 patch. Is this a feature or a bug? Thanks.
