Coming along great actually. We've had some issues with the Havok Vision Engine (we use a custom version of it) which caused the game to be delayed; but otherwise it's all good. I am planning on showing off some new screen shots later this month. Just been so swamped that I haven't had the time. After hearing about and seeing the royal mess that Planetside2 is shaping up to be; I think I made the right decision to make LOD as simple and user friendly as possible and with none of the complications and complexities of standard MMO games. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most difficult and where AAW sits at a solid 7, while my prior games are at a solid 10, I'd say that LOD is hovering around the 4 mark.

I couldn't even get them to the upper atmosphere last time I tried.

Well, this is the big reveal. Since it is going to cost millions, I have my doubts that it will be completed, let alone be able to pull it off properly. It is just too ambitious for today's gaming scene. yeah, they're trying to bite off a bit too much I think. Heck, what's that other one that was trying to take a big bite and is still nowhere? It had the seamless space<->planet transition and all that jazz. But no game.

The system is failsafe. You only get violations for the same reasons as all the previous games. Don't do bad things to the good guys.

The only reason why is that Valve won't approve it due to it being an older game - or some nonsense like that.

The rules are the same for all our games. If they are not in the manual, check the UCCE manual. Basically, don't blow up stuff belonging to your side and most definitely don't keep shooting at friendlies
