Your time would help many a newbie at least survive a few minutes longer per campaign. LOL!!!

WARNING of Doom3 co-op hack exploit; steals CD-Keys

quote: Originally posted by Takvah: Yeah Jamotto was right the link is for the ad. However, Derek I would just like you to know that your game Universal Combat was worth the $39.99 price you initially negotiated. I know that this is a sore subject but given the fact that I have bought a videocard that included a $39.99 game bundled (Far Cry) and then spent $54.99 on Doom 3 your game to me at least, was worth the additional price points. I know I might be the minority but your game never ceases to amaze with the amount of different options available to the commander. For that there needs to be ample consideration made. Doom 3 is $54.99 with one way to finish a mission... your game in Free Roam at least, gives me an endless array of possibilities. You should be rewarded. Yeah, yeah you can say I am blowing smoke up the SC's ass but let me tell you, there is a premium that should be paid for games that give you OPTIONS. Hats off SC, I just spent $54.99 on a game that gives you none and I don't feel cheated. BUT I truly did feel as if you were cheated given the myriad of options that YOUR game provides. I hope that you will self publish "Hold the Line" and that I will be given an opportunity to pay you what it is worth... at my last calculation at least $54.99. Bandus and I have also discussed that we intend to attend you next after party and come armed with spit balls... remember we're LOCALS *snickers* Love ya... ya bastard. Takvah Bandus you grab his arms this guy looks ready to throw! Awwwwwww, I'm all choked up. Anyway, ucHTL has some surprises in store and I'm not going to say ANYTHING about them until the very last minute. quote: Originally posted by Wody: and Id will probably disappear. A shame, really. Quickly accessing Shuttles to CC or deplying Mine Drones

Nothing has changed. It says ALT+E right here on the card in my hand in the first person mode section. Neither CTRL+E nor CTRL+ALT+E were changed either. They all do different things. -

LEARN how to play the game first. -

The reg profile doesn't yet support the DX 9.0c option. Mark should have that setup by tomorrow. But, as you said, everyone should be running DX9.0c runtime.
-
Works fine here. And the mp servers are also running just fine. I just saw Khan and Jamotton on SERVER4 which I just left. He probably didn't copy the patch into the game folder before running it. Dunno.

Check the reg page. The online VCF has also been updated. You have to positively read the VCF before applying this patch. You have been warned. For those of you new to UC. You need to install the v2.00.00 patch first, before installing this patch on top of it. EDIT: Here is the MD5 hash for this patch. You can use a program such as WinMD5 to compare this hash against the file you downloaded. download the patch and copy it into the game install folder. right-click on the MD5 hash file above and use Save-As to download it into the game install folder. Run winMD5 (or similar program) Go to File/Open MD5 file and load the patch MD5 file you downloaded above. Go to File/Open File and load the patch file you downloaded above. If winMD5 reports the status as good, then your patch downloaded correctly and can be used to patch the game.

quote: Originally posted by Scrivener: I guess this settles it. It's one of *those* films, now. I havn't seen or heard any middle ground on this one. You either loved it or hated it. Most of the folks at my school loved it - we're talking graphic design here. My friends, however... they sound like SC =) This qualifies as a Cult Film/Art-House Movie. Make your decisions accordingly. LOL!! Yep. The part that really, truly, pisses me off the most is that, if it were any other movie, I'd have exited, got my money back, and either gone in to see another movie or gone home. But no, I sat there thinking ....its going to get better. As soon as he took the girl to the barn and explained it all, this devolved to ....this b*tch [M. Night that is] had better not be putting me on!. I swear, you could hear the groans in the theatre as people submitted their incredible disappointment. I for one kept thinking that monsters may exist since Hurt kept talking about how there was talk of monsters being in the woods. Once the girl ended up in the forest, then got spooked.....and they cut to Brody having escaped with you know what, my thoughts went to ....sonofa*****!!! I've been had!!! I stayed glued just because I was already in too deep and figured, what the heck. Once the movie ended and everyone started *****ing about how disappointed and pissed they were, I just went and saw Manchurian Candidate. I was too pissed to go home. I hope it tanks at the box office. One thing for sure, I'm never, ever going to see another one of his movies on day one. Never, ever, again. Bastard. All that sci-fi channel hullabaloo as well was a marketing ploy. That even enrages me the most. What a goddamn farce. I hope it tanks at the box office.
-
I have updated the VCF file as I am planning to release this patch sometime tomorrow.
-
So far, the first three episodes are fine. If they switched #3 and #4 around, no-one would probably notice since they may not even be a cohesive storyline. Much ado about nuthin' Tremors was canned because it sucked - and nobody watched it. Not because Sci-Fi switched the episodes around. Its not like it was a cohesive storyline either. Damn fans.
-
I don't care what Scrivener says, this movie was bollocks. If you actually go and see it, you only have yourself to blame. It has - IMO - *no* redeeming qualities. If I wanted to watch a movie about what shit life throws, I'd switch to the Cannes or Turner Network Classics. I hope it bombs at the box office. Especially now that $50m worth of people have seen it and are no doubt going to spread the word about how much of a farce it is. I predict that it will drop around 55% to 70% by next Monday. I hated this movie, not primarily because I was misled, but because it was rubbish. I hope it bombs at the box office. quote: Originally posted by LostInSpace: True it might be a good movie but the point is that it's being advertised as something it is not. That's like Universal Combat being advertised as a game for the casual gamer (which of course it is not). EXACTLY!!!!
