Its nothing to do with that. -
Rip, please correct the email in your profile. PMs sent to you (e.g. by Zane) are bouncing back.

When in fp mode in space or on the ground if you reload your gun using the "r" key if you hit the "r" key again it will decrement the clip count even though you have not used a single round. Thank you for your time. Thats how it works. Don't reload unless you have an empty clip. *moved*

Yeah, you can capture ships and deliver them to stations for rewards. You can also collect cargo pods (which contain items you can use or sell) dropped from destroyed ships etc

He was just crying. Then he got a call, said he was on his way, and it ended.

Beaming from Ship to SHip

The UK manual is smaller due to the smaller print size and fonts they used over there. I'm surprised anyone can bloody well read it. I have a copy here and its, well, smallish. -

But remember also that all NPCs have a friendly fire memory. If you shoot them once or twice, they assume that it is friendly fire. Keeping doing it and they will temporarily disable their alliance matrix and defend themselves. Give a strike order to your forces and its all out war which will propagage along the alliance tree until you are either dead or they forget. They have long term memory which can last up to four (used to be eight) hours. Real time.

If its not in the manual, its not in the game. -
quote: Originally posted by Ricochet: 1. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It seems like the pilots got beamed out of their FC (not sure if that is possible, although apparently intruders can beam in). They don't beam anywhere. Pilots die. Clone them. And don't send Green pilots into a intensely hostile environment. They. will. die. quote: 2. As I understand the manual, if I get cloning modules, I can clone those pilots that were lost, correct? I was first under the impression that I had to send the pilots to medibay to have their DNA collected, but the manual says it is taken when they are assigned, so as long as you have a cloning module, you can clone them. Right?A cloning module is not something you acquire. And the manual doesn't say that. manual p47 quote: 3. I was trying to figure out the Transporter (couldn't find any info in the manual, and not much more on these boards). How does it work? I found that I couldn't assign a target for it. What am I doing wrong? It is fully documented in the manual p34. An entire page no less.

quote: Originally posted by XOR: personally I like the game and have made some good friends in it so I have good times there Yeah, it sure beats having to dress up and go stand around - in public - in a faux fur Wookie suit chatting with other similarly dressed crazies (yeah, you'd have to be nuts to do that). Now you get to do it online. In your skivvies. SWG is a glorified chat room. Nothing wrong with that of course. Being a Star Wars fan, I'm just as pissed at the SWG crew as I am at George for these past two movies.

I've sent him two emails with no replies so far.

OK. I'm officially jealous that I missed all that last night!! -
quote: Originally posted by street: but again...moving along at top speed, in heat of battle, would leave you in deep Sh*t, suddenly jumping out the nearest hatch!! I've done it. My only thought, as I pulled down the lever about to be sucked into space was ....Dear Lord, don't let me get my hands on Resnig when I get back. And my ship had better be intact. For his sakes. Of course, the angst of not knowing wtf was going on in my ship, made me fire up Tacops and tell it come to me so that I could halt it and get back in. By the time I was back in, Resnig and his crew of braindead grunts had apparently succeeded in killing all the intruders. Imagine my amazement.

quote: Originally posted by MadFox: I have another odd problem. After deploying my mining drones and leaving them to work on a planet/moon, later on when I come back to pick them up, sometimes one of them is missing. It simply isnt there. Its not upside down, it wasnt destroyed, its simply not there. I checked the TacOps computer and I couldnt see the missing drone. The radar didnt acuse anything either. And on my Tactical Computer it said both drones were working perfectly and they were even filling up over time. Any sugestion to what might have happened? Here we are again. The last time someone reported this, I asked for a saved game. And never got it. If you have a saved game (check the tech support forum for the topic on how to pack up and send saved games), I'd like to take a look at it. Please make sure that you are running the latest version of the game.

You will no longer be able to do any shield ops if towing something. i.e. the shields will no longer auto drop the TB and raise. You have to first drop the TB, then raise the shields. The issue has nothing to do with hyperspace. If you were not in hyperspace and you raised the shields while towing something, it would drop the tractor beam and raise the shields. The reason you can do shield ops and not have the towed object drop (as it should) is because you are in hyperspace and nothing can be created during that transition. If this were allowed, it would be a cheat way to interrupt the transition and drop you out of hyperspace.

I suppose they didn't you guys yet that you can't take your craft to planets and vice versa? How about the zoning? How about the fact that you're just getting another Star Wars space shooter....but going to be paying $144 a year to play it? ...or did I miss something?
