  2. From Cameron : quote: GameScreenshots.com has posted a 20-something question interview with the vocal Derek Smart focusing on his upcoming space simulation, Battlecruiser Generations. Also in there are thoughts on publishing with Dreamcatcher Interactive, other space sims, video cards and movies. Along with the interview are 23 NEW shots. btw, those shots show the Marauder gunship, the XP10/15 SAL units as well as the Garid and Sentry super cruisers. 7. quote: Originally posted by Jaguar: Also, the Kittyhawk, out of Japan, has been put on standby as well, but for totally different reasons. Can anyone guess what that would be? N. Korea most probably. They've got it coming - and are a bigger threat than Saddamn could ever aspire to be. quote: Originally posted by $iLk: Regardless, before we move in, I for one would like to SEE the evidence that we have that Saddam has Weapons of Mass Destruction. That's not too much to ask... after all, he's telling us what the evidence says but isn't showing it to us. Why? Show it before the first shot is fired. I am 100% in agreement here. However, I have a sinking feeling that the evidence will come after the invasion begins. I simply cannot imagine Bush risking his political career by going to war without this proof - and without the support of the security council. I just can't imagine it. So, I have a feeling that there is a trump card hidden somewhere. And the reason they don't want to show evidence is that Saddamn may alleviate the threat, thereby killing any attempts of an attack. Bush wants Saddamn outta there (as do a a lot of people) and he's not going to give him an out by providing evidence which would allow Saddamn to remedy his actions. 10. You can find it here
  11. quote: Originally posted by EAGLE: Just dont let them push your buttons, and especialy the one that says "Release product date" nah, apart from the fact that I alone get to make that decision, they don't and never have (at least not to my knowledge) had a history of releasing products before they are ready. There is always recourse on both sides and at the end of the day, if the product is late, its late. Nothing you can do about it - except hold the developer in breach of contract of course. When was the last time you ever heard a publisher do this to a developer? Never. Because at the end of the day, if the game is worth it, being worked on and its not seriously late, the right thing to do is to ensure that it gets done properly and ships asap. Its when the publisher holds all the cards - and the developer relies on that publisher 100% for its existence - that you find nefarious things (like releasing games at will) going on. And thats the reason why Take 2 would never have won had they allowed my claims to get to court (they thought I was bluffing) - they had absolutely no right to release BC3K without my consent. And that mistake, cost them dearly. Besides, BCG has been in development over a year and even in its current Alpha Build 2 stage, is 100% playable. So, with almost six months to go, its a lesser risk than it would've been back in November 2001 when we started on it. Apart from that, BCM Gold is a given and even during the six month stretch to BCG, there will be a BC title out there - and with multiplayer. And whatever we learn from BCMG, will definitely go into BCG. Its like an experiment of sorts. I have very high hopes in my future with Dreamcatcher; as such, I'm not losing any sleep over what may or may not go awry. If I was, I wouldn't have done the deal. I said the same thing with Interplay, EB etc. If I'm not comfortable, I don't sign. Its that simple.
  12. Please edit your post and REMOVE any information that I didn't explicitly ask for. I don't care if you were dancing a jig - please, just answer the questions I asked. I am trying to figure out IF you were in fact using Taclink to access the region that contains the planet on which the SC3 has its waypoints. And no matter how I try to simplify the questions, you end up throwing more information into the mix that is either confusing or totally irrelevant to what I am asking. Now, from your post, you're telling me that you were on the planet. Now I have to ask, WHO is on the planet? Your AE or the CC? And please get the name of the region correct. You have a printed galaxy map, how bad can it be to spell Arima?
  13. If you have a saved game with a station that has negative inventory, send that saved game to [email protected]
  14. quote: Originally posted by Kalshion: quote:Where were you went you set these waypoints for SC3? Because this condition is already in the saved game, I have no clue how you go to this state. So, I'd like to know how you created these waypoints. Thats easy, I went to waypoint, selected SC 3 and hit Target and placed it on Mining drone 3 Thats not what I asked. Where was the CC when you were setting this waypoint for SC3? In space or on the planet? Was Tacops monitoring the region where SC3 is located via a probe (in TACLINK mode) or was the CC in the space region where the planet is?
  15. quote: Originally posted by Crush: Just wondering about a situation I been having. Running a terran mercenary out of Idan in Zilon. After a little while was selling some cargo and noticed some of the stations inventory was at a negative value. Ran a search of the forum but didnt find anything related. Not something important just a bother when it happens to be an item I trade in. Happen to anybody else? Are you running the latest version? Do you have a saved game? 16. BCG will have damage maps (thats what they are called) which show visible damage. They are just another layer of texture applied over the area of impact and have nothing to do with the model mesh itself. Thats what STBC and every ST based game used.
  17. quote: Originally posted by TheBunny: Not really. My AE ran backwards 500 ms and he didnt die when he hit a building. heh, must be the armor
  18. Look, do me a favor and delete BOTH of your replies. Then create a SINGLE reply that actually ANSWERS the specific questions I'm asking. I'm not interested in ANYTHING ELSE.
  19. More juicy Matrix info for all you rabid fans.
  20. quote: Originally posted by Kalshion: SC? I know you hate to be reminded of stuff so this is not a reminder But do you think if I uninstall BCM, delete the registery file for BCM, restart, reinstall BCM and patch it then put the save games back in.. you think that might work? I have no idea. All I know from looking at your saved game is that it is corrupted. The crash is not caused by the time. It caused by the waypoint pattern you have set for SC3. When it reaches the wp, it crashes due to this waypoint not containing the region (planet) info. I am investigating what would be causing this. Where were you went you set these waypoints for SC3? Because this condition is already in the saved game, I have no clue how you go to this state. So, I'd like to know how you created these waypoints. I also notice that you have several probes deployed. Did you set these waypoints in a region that the probe was monitoring i.e. your CC was not in that region so you were using the probe to feed the data to Tacops?

  23. Congrats! You've discovered..without cheating...what most haven't. And no, you can't move that probe.
