  1. If you don't STOP frigging arguing with people who obviously KNOW MORE about the frigging game than YOU, two things will happen quite suddenly. Fact 1. You have no frigging clue what you're talking about. Fact 2. The reason the status of intruders is not displayed is because they are not part of the crew and thus do NOT HAVE implants which track their vital stats. Fact 3. This is not Star Trek. And the last time I checked, in ST personnel didn't even have the ability to track the life signs of intruders let alone guests who are NOT in sickbay. Fact4. You have no frigging clue HOW the game works, yet you want to argue mechanics?
  2. Who didn't see it coming?
  3. Thats why you should READ the version control file of patches BEFORE you apply them. Those docs are created for a reason you know.
  4. Try not to read this if you have any food and/or drink in your mouth, mkay?
  5. Create a new movie thread. If you're going to post spoilers, embed the text inside UBB or HTML code with the color tag. Set the color to White so that you can only see the text if you highlighted it.
  6. Yep, I knew this one was a bomb. So who's going to see it first. Quoted from a Rotten Tomatos review:
  7. Every possible problem you could run it with BCM Gold is (1) covered in its FAQ (2) covered in the legacy forums Also, the game has nothing to do with Divx as it doesn't use it or even need it. And that debugger message - also covered here - has nothing to do with DivX. Topic moved since BCM Gold is no longer supported
  8. And you somehow managed to interpret Supposed to work with Vista to it being Vista supported, how?
  9. ...and you saw this where? All our games will run under Vista. And if it doesn't, use the WinXP SP2 settings in the properties. Thats totally different from being Vista supported.
  10. In all fairness, I don't think they're suing because of the reviews. They're suing because apparently those reviews were based off pirated copies of the game. BIG difference I think.
  11. Due to their design structure and the post-release work involved, our games are not mod friendly. Never have been. I have no intentions of going that route either because we just don't have the time or resources to make such an effort even worthy of the time spent. Given the design of KnightBlade, there is a good chance that it will not support multiplayer. Its an insurmountable task to do multiplayer for a game in which you don't even control the carrier - and which just happens to be your home base. You only play as either a pilot or combat marine. Also, the only possible multiplayer option would be 2 or 4 -player co-op. Thats not even possible at this point in time; though that may change in the future and thus be the only viable multiplayer option there is. Anyway, due to unforeseen circumstances and priorities, this game is not due out until Q1/2010 anyway, a lot can change between now and then.
  12. Not likely. Its bad enough supporting two DRM schemes. I have no intentions of adding a third. If anyone wants to buy my games, they already know where they are available. We have no need to have it on Steam as that only translates to additional work, not necessarily additional revenue.
  13. No changes were made to it. Rule of thumb: if its not in the VCF, it wasn't touched.
  14. Well, keep looking.
  15. We're not releasing a boxed version of this product.
  16. This patch requires the June 2008 (or later) DirectX runtime Use the game Updater to download and apply the patch. The online VCF has also been updated.
  17. This patch requires the June 2008 (or later) DirectX runtime Use the game Updater to download and apply the patch. The online VCF has also been updated. NOTES: The patches use a different installer. So be sure to confirm the location of your install in the dialog which appears!! If you use the game's Updater, it will download the patch and apply it. If you don't want to use the Updater, then you have to check one of the public mirrors for a link to the full patch. NOTE Games supported: UCCE v1.00.03 (or higher) Full (Take2 DVD-ROM retail version) UCCE v1.00.03.01 (or higher) Full (Direct2Drive or Gamers Gate version) * UCCE v1.00.03.01 (or higher) Full (Digital River version) * UCCE v1.00.03.01 (or higher) Full (BMT Micro UCSE to UCCE upgrade version) * * IF YOU BOUGHT THESE VERSIONS BEFORE 11-01-07 - AND YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE THIS - YOU HAVE TO EDIT YOUR SETTINGS.INI FILE BEFORE USING THE GAME UDPATER. THIS IS BECAUSE IT NOW SUPPORTS ALL THE VARIOUS DRM VERSIONS. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN YOUR DRM SIGNATURE BEING INVALIDATED (DUE TO AN INCORRECT PATCH BEING DOWNLOADED AND APPLIED). Go to your game install folder and make a backup of the SETTINGS.INI file. Then load the SETTINGS.INI file in Notepad. Go to the UPDATEINFO section and make the following changes depending on which version you have. If you have the current version, no changes are required. When done, save the file, exit Notepad and run the Updater. If you run the game and you are prompted for license info, then you messed something up. In which case you will have to rollback to the previous patch and do it over.
  18. BMT Micro now sells the retail boxed version of the game. Also, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST, if you purchase it from them, you get a free copy of the 27"x27" game galaxy poster. More info below available on the sales link.
  19. Are you one of those suckers EA got to pony up $9.95 for something that should otherwise be free?
