There never was a naval expansion. Where'd you get that idea from? The ability to control naval units is what was planned. And you can control some (LCAC units) naval units, you just can't move them because there was no way to prevent the user from taking them from water to land. I just couldn't be bothered so I just left it at LCAC units, since they can move over land and water just fine.

Thats why I went with Take 2. Its going in ALL the retailers.

Release some new shots this month. The ones today show the revisions to the planetary terrain engine. Talon Elite uses a brand new terrain engine and looks about 100x better. Just wait'll until the first shots show up; you'll crap your pants. 05-10-07 05-17-07

I have uploaded 80+ shots from UCCE. Note the subtle graphics differences between UCCE and UCSE. Especially on the terrain rendering.

btw, my friends over at Stardock, also used Take 2 for their distribution and it seems to have worked well for them.

The VCF in the retail build is online. This shows the revisions/additions in UCCE.

Just a quick post to let you guys know that we have inked a distribution (we are self-publishing) deal with Gathering (a distribution arm of Take-Two) to distribute UCCE exclusively in North America. It will be availble for sale in July/August as previously stated. We will be releasing some blurb about it next week, but I wanted to give you folks the heads up. For those outside North America, I may release the digital distribution version on the same day as well. Hence the retail distribution. So, its not just the UCSE engine at work here, there's be a lot more work put into it.

Here is what you do IF you REALLY want to spend money on this instead of waiting for the DVD. go early buy the ticket note what time it starts (the running time is 2:20) go in and find a seat. Then tell someone to hold the seat for you. leave and go wash your car, go to the park, clean out the attic, go bowling etc. The idea is to kill at least 2hrs Come back 2hrs into the movie Like MI3, with Spidey3, they pretty much put a nail in its coffin. Stupid drama. Stupid drama. Stupid drama. worse.spidey.ever I'm so pissed, that I'm only going to score it for the visual effects because IMO, this movie has NO other redeeming values. None.whatsoever. 5/10
