I'm a NewB, but only to this site. I have a BC3K game I have been battleing on for over a year. I have the original version of BC3kad from 1996. I didn't even know this site was here until I bought version 2.0 BC3K. All you Vets seem really cool to me, and you have a wealth of information. I've read all of the rules for the site and am trying to be carful not to anger anyone but if I make a mistake I'm sure SC will cut me off at the knee caps. 'Gallion' I now have a new vidio card. went and bought the GForce2 Ti. Loaded the Drivers, I also uninstalled BCM and reinstalled and then Patched it. I am happy to say that I'm not having any of the problems I had before and would like to thank you for all your help.

I registered, sorry I didn't do that sooner. So, my vid card is dated and my drivers are old. Man, I just bought this computer 6 months ago, shows you how much I know when it comes to Hardware. Thanks for your help, I'll load new drivers on, and maybe look at getting another vidio card soon.

I'd like to see an option where you could turn off/on the intruders for every ship not just the unarmed ones. Everytime I undock from the station I have 4 or 5 of those intruder SOB's popping up on my ship, they must be hiding in the rafters becuase there isn't even a enemy ship in site. It would be nice if the Shields kept them out because lord knows my marines can't. I turn off the power to the transporter the launch control and I turn on the cloaking device and still I have intruders trashing my ship and wiping out my marines. Either these intruders are real good or my marines were trained by the Taliban.lol Something to think about, On/Off Toggle switch.

I'm new to this site but I've played BC3000ad for years. I had the 96 version that just wouldn't fire up on the old pc but it got better over the years, until version 2.9. I now own BCM and although I've been looking all over this site I don't seem to see anyone having the same problems as myself. I patched to version 1.01 and that went well but for some reason I'm having a megaload of problems. The game runs but it crashes a lot. When I'm in FP mode and I go to the tacops computer to get a lay of the land it crashes the game. If I am a Elite Marine the sniper rifle won't fire. if I'm the regular marine I am invisable but my gear isn't, jetpack, weapon show up fine, but not the marine. When I was in the commander role I went to the moon from the earth. When I got the moon didn't exist, I went through the atmosphere sequence and right into a black hole, no stars and no moon just the word DOWN on my HUD. I have a HP Pavilion with 1.5 gig CPU intel pentium 4 128 meg of ram 80 gig hard drive Creative sound blaster 128 [WDM] DirectX 8.1 OS WindowME I'm thinking this might have something to do with my PC setup but not sure.
