  1. Thanks, I think I'm going to buy some OTS missles before capture some starbases. BTW, is there any special planet or moon with few bases where I can practice a little? thanks for helping : )
  2. hi again, I'm about to drop my marines on surface. I'm going to use the tips on page 58 of TFM. But I have some questions: 1 - I'm not going to transport them, I want them going by SC/OC. So... Where should I allocate them? To the SC, OC or both? 2 - Once on the surface, Will them leave the SC or OC automatically and SAD? 3 - Is there any way to give them any kind of order like halt, SAD or whatever? 4 - I'm using the same questions 2 and 3 form my OC's. 5 - If I attack a planet like earth with A LOT of bases, will that bases send troops or fighters against me? Because if they will, I'm not going to drop my marines to get a starbase and than to have them killed by the troops of another starbase on the vicinities. thanks for helping.

If you want, you do it, if you prefer to go into battle instead of researching, so, it's up to you. The objects would just be there, waiting you to explore and find them. It would be like a RPG, but with battleships. I am sugesting this because I think that there should be another possiblities besides fighting and mining in a so good game like this one. Of course, I don't know HOW you could do this of It is even possible, but, here is my suggestion. thanks and have goooood flights
  4. Man, I'm loving this simulator (this is not a game, really). but I'm curious since the begining about one thing. Manytimes, when you are flying around, there in not any enemy ship, or missels, you car hear explosions outside (or inside? dunno). It seems like a ship hitting you with Its IOD. But there is no ship, no enemy, no damage. What is that? asteroids colisions?
  5. Ok, but Can I load a SC with my HAG, PAS2, CAV, APC1, ZX10, XP10 and etc...to be used by me and my marines on ground or even this weapons are there just for trade (comander career)? And about the power switch, if I select a shield switch to the middle postition, what is going on? Are the shields recharging in a slow rate? If not,I'm going to select all switches to the minimum position to save power. That's it.
  6. Thank you guys, you have been helping me very much with my questions. But I still have two more. Here we go... 1 - I am using but I don't understand What is the pouporse of the power level switch (LOGISTIX/Power). Ok, I can use it to turn (lets say..) the shield system on and off, but, IF the switch is in the middle, What is really going on? Is it recharging in a slow rate or what? I don't know how it works. And I don't understand why the Solar Reactor (the first switch)DRAINS power from the amount of energy of the ship. Isn't it a source of power? How cay it drain energy so? 2 - I'm about to drop my marines in a planet. I went to a station and I bougth a LOT of weapons, armors and ammo. Now, I don't know how to make my marines use them. How can I say to them that I want them using a BMP9, not a ZS10? How can I choose the type of armor they are going to wear? I bought a CAV and a APC2 too but I don't know how to drop them. What about my rocket lauchers? Did I spend money for nothing? Is it true that the FP weapons I can buy is just for my AE? I have a LOT of weapons and I can't use them, so....... Thanks again guys, I have searching aswear for this questions in the manual, but, I haven't found it

  8. Just a question: besides plutonium, radine and iridium, is there any other mineral in that list (other minerals) that I will need for reparing? Or I can really sell everything and make money? What does MN (that appears in the bottom right) means when you choose any item from the list (less plutonium, radine and iridium). thanks
  9. Heee, I'm enjoying this simulator very much : ) despite of some crashes when things became hot (many crafts around, I think). But, one problem shows up: All my officers, pilots and engineerers are growing in fatigue. I have done all I could. I put them off duty (I waited almost 20 minutes and fatigue kept growing). The faniest is that the life vector is almost 100%. Even when it is at 100% (when the person just come over the medbay)the fatigue still grows. How can I stop this????????? I am ready to launch back to the scene but I cant until put my crew 100 % again. HEEEELP.
  10. Thanks guys,....but I still have problems when my SC tows a disabled ship. I cannot dock a SC that is towing a ship. So, I have to release it firts than use my tractor beam. I will try the Halt command. The RTB command doesnt work becouse the SC cannot dock :|. thanks for helping, but I'll not try to cool my hull going underwater. Clever.....
  11. Could anybody help me in three things? 1 - Is there any influence between the type of ship I choose and the type (and number) of enymies I will face? I chose the best supercarrier (firestorm) and all my enemies are biiiiiiiiiiig. 2 - How can I make my SC release towed objects, so that I can tractor it to inside the ship? My sc keep flying around with his cargo pod or a disabled ship and I cant release it or beam it. 3 - What can I do to stop enemy ships poping in each 5 minutes so that I can work a little (mining, reparing, reloading, towing disabled ships and etc...) The game just don't give me time to "work" a little instead of fighing everytime. and... 4 - Is there any "safe" place where I could go to rest a little without being attacked each 5 minutes? Mars, that is close to earth is defetelly not a safe place to stay (????) Thaks guys, I'm enjoying this game very much ; )
