You are EVIL Derek Smart! Despite owning every BC product you have made and being a sometimes critic UC is simply addicative, exciting, and very well developed. My addiction has been noted by my spouse. Will BC pay for a divorce? As a side note 20$ for this product is a slap in the face. I have paid much more for other Dreamcatcher products that don't work months later [e.g. Pax Romana]. Kudos on a superior job.

sorry..just crashed. "SC" is correct in 3 items regarding ongoing dispute with publisher: 1. I voted to release before rc1/2 dispute. If the publisher releases #1 I will make this the 1st BC3K game that I won't purchase. 2. A publisher that knowingly publishes a defective product w/o the designer's ok will never sell either me or my associates another title. 3. I'm FAR from an "SC" advocate or defender but to suggest in another board that this board is closed is stupid, silly, and obiviously wrong.

As i've said many times i'm not a "core supporter" and I have been a critic when I felt it was just. Apparently not enough [to date] to be kicked off [yet]. Whatever "SC"

I'm not a "loyal" supporter and I have been a sometimes critic. On the otherside I bought and own every BC game. This game WILL NEVER BE FLAWLESS. It's too sophisticated and complex. Even if you wait a year you, I, and the world KNOW you will issue patches and enhancements. [care to bet?] It is your nature. The current bugs are minor. Trees are for hiding! Fix the "drive through" bug later. etc. etc. I realize that i'll be in the minority around here but like you "SC" I'll survive. If you're accurate in what you say i.e. that you spent a lot of money and the bugs, while annoying, will cause you to miss the best market time. Either way i'll buy it but IMHO you are "less than wise" to hold it now.

Very interesting Derek. I've been both a critic and a supporter since the start. I've opted in and out. Your "it's just not fun anymore" line is simply absurd. Was it "fun" in the good old days when BC was a joke..and not a funny one? You overcame that and made it serious.I suggested BCM to a friend yesterday..I never thought I'd do that. Bad day at the office? We all have them. Have a whiskey , curse the bastards, and press on. I thought you'd never let them win. I thought you were made of sterner stuff. Toughen up again....afterall most would have quit long ago. Then again how does that go..."The man that follows the crowd usually.."?

SC May I suggest that anyone who would be intrigued by BCM comes for the experience [the play]. I love good graphics , and BCM isn't bad, but "the plays the thing" to borrow and twist the famous Bard's words. This designer has demonstrated [at least!]that we who aspire to explore the universe can expect even more in the future. Graphic splendor will arrive but in the meantime watch out the rear view ,[F4]for a new commander, as earth disappears as you "hyper" to some far off place from GALCOM. Not too shabby! I further boldy suggest two points. [dare I?] The designer has already said improved graphics are comming in an expansion ...so... "what's your boggle?" [Demolition Man the movie] Second... I'll just bet those us who play BCM have our own favorite views. Please tell me yours... can the view of leaving earth on a mission be equaled? Hey is it possible we have good graphics and will get great ones someday?
