What BB store you going to? i work at BB now, although im going to a casino next week. BB is a fun place to work, but dont try for a career, unless you like to kiss @$$ (maybe thats just my store)

in the UC manual, it says Alert (active) radar scans the WHOLE sector, or 250km on a planet. so in space your radar picks up everything except cloaked ships which blends the ship in with spaces background noise
Passive is only effective to 5km on a planet, but active radar can be detected up to 250km. whats the effective range in space i dont know, but my guess is the whole sector

to do upgrades you have to launch from the starbase
then goto logistix->craft->CC->deck #->then what ever system u want to upgrade

even though clinton slashed military funding, did we forget that the military fighting in iraq is clintons?
and do we have documents that show the cuts effected the level of readiness or availability of equipment? my guess is it stopped wasteful spending on programs that showed little growth or promise

seriously look at yourselves, all americans all with the same problem, no respect for your fellow americas opinions and beliefs (i could be wrong but im going by what i see)
i dont care for bush or kerry. america has become a prize and goal of power for either democrats or republicans, not the people who live here. but either way you look at it, America isnt the America it used to be. we have never been a true democracy, we are a democratic republic. but even those ideals are slipping away.
i just had to interject and remind you all are american and americans need to be united besides during times of crisis
