Once I send them to the surface can I mass select them and have them destroy enemy buildings?

Do I have to tow it to a friendly station (Green)?

What can I do with enemy crafts once I have them in my tractor beam? Do I get something for bringing them to a station?

I am new to BCM and the BC series. I have been exploring the manual and the game. I have been able to execute several procedures, but am still concerened about one thing. WHAT DO I DO! I can't ever seem to find people to fight, or people to interact with! Plz help! Also: Is there multiplayer or is it in the making?
