That may be entertaining, but there are more entertaining ways (at least for EPs): 1. Get a few dozen OTS. 2. Select a Galcom base on Earth. 3. Beam Resnig down to selected base. 4. Drop OTS on Resnig. 5. Get some popcorn 'n enjoy. 6. Clone Resnig. 7. Repeat.

There has to be more than two people doing all the work- what about the poeple on the BC team?

Some old RP thread? quote: Gammulan leaders became skeptical, however, when the Supreme Commander promised the reenactment would be an exact duplicate of the Gammulan War, "including the part at the end where Darien Mane dies." Extreme lol. But... He's already dead... Who're you going to kill this time? -
Amusing. Enigma: how is BCM funny? [ 05-23-2002, 23:52: Message edited by: Kartoffel ]

I'm guessing it was #1, 'init personnel' Try SNG, doing your cheating but skipping #1. If that doesnt work, try doing it again and again, skipping each cheat in turn like Cmdr Nova suggested. Also, what CC are you using? [ 05-09-2002, 16:18: Message edited by: Kartoffel ] -
quote: Posted by $ilk My friend's AMD was overheating with a High Tower that had like 7 expansion bays. He had one of the huge fans directly on top of it, along with fans in case Three ways that that can be true: poor ventilation outside the case, like if it was in a closet, the main heatsink fan wasnt powerful enough or the main heatsink wasnt on correctly. quote: From what I've read on firingsquad, it will be very safe to overclock this Pentium four, possibly to 2.6 or 2.8 ghz rating without breaking a sweat. Sure, you can overclock it to 2.8ghz, but a simple 2 ghz athlon can outperform it easily. As I said before: if you want to waste money on a P4, go ahead. Its your money. You just wasted some cash... P4 mhz are about 66-75% as powerful as AMD mhz, meaning a 1.4 ghz athlon could compete rather easily with a 2ghz P4 Well, if you wanna waste money, go ahead... its your money after all. quote: I like the Intel Northwood better, and it will support overclocking beyone what an Athlon will if I so choose. It will support higher ghz ratings, but the AMDs will still outperform it if you overclock the AMD chip to 75% of the P4. Really, the only reason thast Intel is still in buisness is that they have a larger market share, and more propaganda.

quote: posted by Race Bannon IV: Consoles don't crash and lose your game if you don't save Untrue. Consoles crash. Not as much as PCs do, but they crash nonetheless. quote: you never have to worry about whether you can meet the systems requirements Means that games can only get so big, before the system cant handle them. quote: or patches for games that arent really done yet a game being console-based means that it is far harder to distribute improvements on a game that has existing bugs, or to have an add-on pack. Really, if you need a console-like joystick, go get a gravis gamepad pro - its nearly identical to a PSX/PS2 controller. But that's irrelevent, as PCs offer far more flexibility. Try a console FPS. The control mode requires numerous key combos to do something simple, like open a door. PC FPS, however let you bind a key to that. A console's only saving throw is that configuration is easier. BTW- Halo is a piece of s***.

Its happened to me before... I dont know what causes it, but go to view + fonts - normal to fix it.

I agree with Greg. Consoles are no match for a decent PC. Sure, PCs may cost more, but you can upgrade and save without forking over cash for 15 saves- two big problems with consoles. Heh, even the resolution is way higher, as TVs only support something like 540x380. If you had ever seen/played the N64 port of StarCraft, BCM-on-a-console'd be even worse. Besides, the xbox & PS2 use DVDs, meaning an emulator will come out sometime & you can play them on a PC. Sure, you'll need a DVD drive, but thats way cheaper than a PS2 or xbox.

I got a save game, just tell me where to send it, as the archived thread on the subject doesnt say.

If you ever run anything windowed, this will kill it.

Airframe is good, try reading it someday. Congo is also good, i cannot imagine how one could think otherwise Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Lost world is completely different from Crichton's. Sir Arthur's was about a hidden plateau in brazil wherfe dinosaurs still ives, in the early 20th century. Crichton's was... well... go read it sometime.

quote:What asset are you using? You do realize that assets have different cargo bay storage space, right?I have tried this with a sunflash, BCMK2, and a megaron. I am well aware of the different bay spaces. quote: making sure the amount of space used is more then your weapon bay can hold) -------------------------------------------------- What does this mean? having more OTS in the pod then the bay can hold, since any item only takes up one space in the pod quote: How are you determining this? by looking at the space indicator in logistix-cargo

Hard to believe... NOBODY READS CRICHTON?!?

two possibilities. 1- HD is bad. 2- Connection to the IDE bus cable was bad. Of course you can stick it on primary IDE- assuming it has an open slot. You'll need to get the jumpers set so this one is primary/slave, tho. EDIT: having a HD on the same IDE channel as a CD-ROM drive slows the HD read/write speeds down to that of the drive. okay, 3 possibilities- 3- improperly configured. Idiotic. Sure, it's pretty. BUT- it will take up so much system resources... it will render your system unable to do any serious processor-intensive stuff (ala BCM).
-
at a station 1- buy 10 OTS 2- load em into your cargo pod 3- buy another 10 OTS *repeat till you have like 100 in your pod* launch 4- go to the cargo screen in logistix, select the type of OTS you have loaded in the pod, making sure the amount of space used is more then your weapon bay can hold) 5- click cancel the contents of the pod magically disappear, ive tried it twice, and the OTS have disappeared both times, except for the OTS that fit in the weapon bay. Edit: Found a bug. It has to do with intruders destroying my sunflash's cloaking device... (yes i know the sunflash isnt supposed to have one but i got a message saying it was destroyed, and tradcom says i need a new one) Do you want to see a savegame with it?
