I personally am not a big fan of abortion, however it is a right and it should remain so within specific guidlines. I can deal with before 10 weeks. I know of one person who had a late one and that was due to her inability to face the truth of what had happened and it sickened me. A fetus cannot be expected to live if born before 24 weeks (info from 2001, things may have changed). An act of violence however, is an act of violence and the perp should be cahrged with everything under the sun. More than that I think they should do away with the appeal process and kill these sickos so we can use the tax dollars for better things.

I recently got some free software for complaining about AOL. It gave me a free month to Ancestry.com. It was cool, sad though, a lot of baby deaths. Thank goodness for modern technology. (Oops that's a topic for a different thread) My Uncle had my dads side done all I know is we are black Irish from Ulster (I think that's the name of the place) So I guess I am a little Spanish. I guess at some point a lot of records were burned in Ireland I think by the English...not too sure My moms side: my great grandparents are off a boat from Italy. Lost it after that as my great grandmother was an orphan and I can't find my great grandfather. It is really interesting though.

If I keep commenting on this, I am gonna start a huge argument that I may lose. I don't really enjoy politics. Mostly becuase I am the little guy(lady), and anyone who thinks the little guy(lady) has any bearing on what happens in politics is insane. Can anyone say we thought these little angry cave dwellers had the power to attack us like they did in 2001? I sure as heck didn't. Here's a fact: More little guys(ladies) had jobs when Clinton was in office. Now my thought: That article basically stated that Clinton was basing his moves on public opinion rather than trying to fight terrorism. Doesn't that make us the American People just as much to blame? As I see it, we were a nation more concerned with who was under the presidents desk and not what was on it.

Neither of my children would have survived without c-sections. A midwife would never have been suffiecent in the birth of my daughter. I do not feel c-sections are over used, I have many friends that were forced into 36 or more hours of labor, only to end in c-sections. I want to be clear. I would not chose to do what she did, additionally, I would not have an abotion unless I was at risk of death, even at that after a few weeks I feel is too late. I truly feel that anyone who uses abortion as a cure for making a mistake should be fixed. I also feel men should step up and take a bit of responsibilty too but ultimately it is the womans body and her responsibily. But with all that being said: 1. I do not think they should outlaw abortion. 2. Not every woman who miscarries or has a procedure done too late should be charged with murder. 3. Mental illness should never be allowed to be used as a defense for anything. 4. Democrats are not the route of all evil. 5. It is refreshing to see soo many men have opinions about these issues. 6. You should be able to disagree with your doctors and do what you feel is right. Finally I have seen pictures of this woman and a c-section scar should have been the least of her worries...catty I know but how I feel!

I speak only from my mind...just thoughts...If the doctor cut her against her wishes I belive he would be the one defending his licence. I had to sign a ton of forms allowing my two c-sections. If this woman is indeed crazy (I have my own words for her) someone somewhere should have stepped in to help her. To me it didn't sound like a religiuos or strong belief to deliver naturally. I also feel that she didn't have the right information. C sections have come a long way. They used to cut straight up and down, it sounds to me that's what she thought would happen. Modern C section scars aren't soo bad. Someone should have taken the time to show her. Medicine has advanced sooo much in pregnancy. heck they can operate on fetus' now. I would hate to think if someone denied a fetus surgery and later miscarried that they would be charged with murder. I am pro-choice to some extent. I think within a specific time frame and certain women, abortions are acceptable. I do not belive they should be used as birth control and I would never have one, but a I think a raped woman or molested teenager should have the right to chose. However if you are almost to term and have the capcity to help the life of a child, becasue after a couple months that is what you have in there, you should. Muderer?
