Please forgive this intrusion... JCMan - I had similar problems to what you describe, albeit with a different video card. Here's something you might want to try... Check your Vagp (AGP Voltage) in BIOS, and if it's less than, say, 1.7 then up it to that, or maybe as high as 1.8 (Do this at your own risk!). When checking out causes of similar issues with my card, I discovered that some cards (ATI in particular) tend to be a little power-hungry. When I checked my BIOS, I saw that Vagp was at the default of 1.5V, so I tweaked it up to a recommended 1.7. Not a single CTD yet (Knocking on every piece of wood I can find, however... ) I don't know if Nvidia cards have the same issues, but it may point you an a proper direction to find a cure. Darkken- About the keyboard control issue...it's not a problem with the game. I believe it is how the keyboard's circuitry is set up. I don't know if different keyboards (bargain vs. expensive) do it differently, but some keys are read before others. The keyboard then sends this first signal as if it was the only key pressed. Usually it is only the control keys (Ctrl, Alt, and Shift) that are designed to work in combination with the other keys. This has been my observation of how keyboards work, but I -may- be totally off base with this. I hope this helps Floyd.

(Raises hand) Add me to the list for this occurrence as well. I HAVE found out, however, that it will only CTD on me if I tinker with my AE's gear at the beginning of a "ROAM" game. Any CC, any race/caste, it doesn't seem to matter - it seems to work as it should... but try and change his gear to anything but the default (loadout package 1)at the start, UC will do a very quick & dirty CTD on me (no screen flicker or anything - it just dies) if I try and Alt-E out of my CC in space. BTW - I was able to install the patch with no errors or glitches, so I believe it "took" okay. Floyd.
