That leaves most classes with very little students. The classes hit hardest are the easiest one's because most people know Add and Subtract, so that school thinks "Why not just put students in there even though they don't need it?" And that's how it's been, for me, I spent two years in a math class I DID NOT NEED, and ace'd it both years, most of the class time was spent with me being on my laptop looking at website's such as this (although my friends would say otherwise ) So, lets see Out of 1300 students, 130 of them have a 3.9 GPA and are allowed to attend the "higher level" math classes While 70%, or 910, are stuck in low grade math classes that they either don't need, or require little help in Which leaves 17% who are in special ed, which is suppose to mean a program for students who need extra help, where in reality, a lot of those who are stuck in program don't need help at all. In a percentile, about 17% of the total student body is attached to that program, or 221 students Math can be used for plenty of things, but unless it's taught accurately, it won't be of any good Hope I did my math right, unsure really considering I don't have a calculater availible
