{RP} "Move it Move it!","There everywhere!","Right Flank is Falling!","Get those APC's and Tanks moving! prepare to SD the ship!",I yelled over the other yells of marines and sargeants... the small battle wasn't going good the enemie somehow was ready for us and was hitting us hard with everything they had. We had a good ammount of tanks and APC's so we decided to flee from the ship... taking what ever we could, including a strange artifact that wasn't on the ship before. We went over a few hills, being followed by our close support fighers and heavy fighters, The ship was now 25 KM's away we needed to get 50 KM's in order to get out of its blast radius.. the explosion would be seen even from space,"How long?","10 minutes sir!", we had dozens of wounded marines in one APC and we transformed another one, which I was in, into a command APC.. all my officers where there.. including my science officer who was still drinking even after I told her to stop.. she just contiued.. "Sir! incoming missles.. there heading for the ship","good those transmitters are fooling them",We raced down a cliff which was so steep both APC's lost traction and started tumbling down.. the tanks that where infront of us stop and we slamed into them.. stoping our rolling.. I got up.. I was bleeding from the forhead,"Damn.. this day is turning into hell!",I said with a hint of annoyness in my voice, annoyed at the fact that my ship and crew seem to be the prime targets for every major attack,"Sir.. this hill should cover us.. but.. only the reactor will blow the ship itself will remain intact", I found that odd.. but nodded, the marine punched in the key numbers, next thing we saw a bright light wash over the top part of the hill.. then a redish sky appeared "I hope Elio got the message" {/RP}

FL will be out tomorrow! and I'll post my own review of the game after I defeat... here's how I review a game if it takes me only one day to defeat it *one school day* then it wasn't worth my money *IE Generals only took me one full day to defeat one campain, took me 3 days to defeat the game* If it takes me a week to defeat a game then it was well worth my time and money

{RP} I sat back in the chair. Thinking, my tacops officer came in,"Sir.. where being shadow'd by a Galcom Astrom.. there hailing us",I waved my hand in an acceptible manner. The officer walked over to one of the com terminals,"This is Commander Kalshion","At first we thought you where destroyed enroute",a high pitched voice said over th come,"Looks like we where wrong. Hold on tight the Calvery is on-", the com channal went dead, the lights went out. The officer looked around, we heard explostions then silence. unknown sum of days I woke up still in my quarters.. I got up and went to the window, I looked out and saw we where on a planet.. the windows was busted and that told me that the planet had a nitrogen-oxygen atmostsphere, I heard pounding on the door and took out my gun, the door fell apart and 5 marines came in, I sighed when I noticed they where allie'd,"You ok Commander?",I nodded they helped me up. 20 minutes later We where outside the ship, the ship had crash landed but was still in good condition, except the fact that deck 7 and 8 where now crushed and anyone there was certainly dead,"Welcome to my nightmare",I said putting my hand on my face The camp was set up almost like a base, we where carrying extra turrets and other stuff made to build a base of operations, all those items and buildings where now being used, I walked over to my coms officer who had a broken arm but she still done her job,"Where you able to contact Galcom HQ?","No sir.. the coms dead and I have no fliping idea where we are right now.. I mean for all we know we could be in Gammulen Territory or we might be near Pluto","Why are we the ones who always have the bad luck?", My coms officer laughed,"Maybe its destiny sir","Some destiny",I started to walk away when I heard the tall tail sound of a fighter.. at first I thought it was one of ours, I turned around in time to see a squad of 8 fighters launch there missles at the camp, the automated defense's kicked in and shot down the missles,"Com get Galcom on the horn right now! if those are Insurgent or Gammulen fighters then we can be sure that there platoon's or tanks and marines arn't far behind", I saw our fighters.. the 2 remaining undamaged fighters come out of the ship's hanger bays.. well at least the ship was still fuctioning, I watched as the PTA system also kicked in and started firing on something just 5 miles away,even though the ship could still be used it was now impossible to get it off the ground without help,"Sir..", my Tecops officer ran up to me with a datadisk,"I recovered this, it shows what attacked us.. looks like our friend who helped us when the Gammulens attacked helped us again",I gestured toward the incoming enemie forces,"Some help" {/RP} Ok.. I know what your going to say =) "Kalshion stop causing your crew so much trouble!"

oy oy... So what line of the G-FX is comsumer based then?? there are so many! btw I won't buy another type of 3D card unless I really have to..

Need to add some more life to this story =) {RP} We where just 3 jumps away from Pluto... a Galcom fleet, a rescue fleet, met up with us halfway.I looked at the view screen,"Odd... did the Andrameda ask for a rescue fleet to met up with us?", my coms officer turned around,"No clue sir.. but they must've of..",My tacops officer started to mumble,"Whats wrong?","A ghost... infact.... 5 ghosts.. looks like where being shadow'd, unsure if its friendly or not","Sir.. the Andrameda's shuttle has droped us and there fighters are returning to base.. looks like our boys are taking over", I sat there.. unconvinced, something wasn't right... and we still had one PAD artifact onboard,"Communication.. imbed a small com packet into the shuttles com array.. The commander on thee Andrameda should be able to recover it",my coms officer turned around,"Your being parinod sir.. there our forces.. where safe there's nothing to worried about",I looked at her then nodded but she still did what i said. A galcom transport started towing us while being escorted by a group of Galcom ships. Our view screen was strangly disrupted.. but we figure'd it was because of the resent power lose we where getting, I sat on my quarters still unconvinced and wondering if I should lock down the ship just incase.. a marine sargeant knocked on the door, I allowed him in, he asked me why we where going away from Galcom territory, that caught my interest, I told him to arm our marines and get ready. {/RP}

Captains log Well the mission that HQ gave us was going smooth till we ran into gammulens that wanted to kill us, and a strange looking ship that saved us. Overall the mission was a success, the medical supplys where beamed down to the base one at a time during the 3 hours waiting period between us and the gammulen fleet end captains log We where now only 3 jumps from Pluto, everything had gone as planed. I singled the station in pluto that we would be needing serious repairs and if there are any places for my crew to take leave, I was told was and they sent me a hole list of placs near there.

{RP} Sir.. the Andromeda is sending a message",I turned around, my arm was still in a caste,"Very well, open it up" The message flashed across the screen,"Hmm how baddly damaged are we..", my com's officer turned around and stoud up,walked over to me and padded me a pad, normaly she only did this if something bad was, really bad,"Very well.. single the Andromeda, tell them we do need assistence, besides.. in all likly hood the Gammulens might think we still hold the imformation and might try another run","Maybe not.. after what happened to there single ship fighters they might not try something for quite sometime, well at least not while where around",I nodded and walked out off the bridge, Decks 3 and 4 where siriously damaged in the attack, they would have to be replaced along with most of the ship systems, the only system that might escape reconstruction would be the Weapon's system. I walked into my quarters and took off my uniform and sliped into something more comfortable, I had cuts and bruise's all over the body,"This has been a hectec month",I said taking out a bottle of Champain that I had stashed on the ship for special occasions, or if I ever needed something to drown my worry's, As I drank I saw a shadow go across the hull, it was a Shuttle, couldn't really tell what its MK was though, I saw 2 fighetrs also,"Hmm we would have replace our fighters as well and get a few new pilots... man HQ is going to chew me out for this lose",I said laying my head back and falling asleep "You think the commander will be alright",Said mark as he got up from Tactical, my officers where trained in all ship systems, Mark could very well fly the ship and be a com's officer,or a flight officer, I had made sure they all knew how to operate each indiviusal system incase something was to happen, John stoud onto the bridge, his uniform was wet with sweet,"You've seen better days John", Mark said laughing, John knocked Mark on the shoulder,"You try flying a Stealth Fighter through those gammulens, I had to fly so slow I thought it would eons for me to get through",Mark said whiping the sweet off his face,"Hey! at least you made it back!", a female voice yelled across the bridge, Mark turned and met the Gaze of Lt. Commander Sakura, although she was a Lt. C she was put on my ship for reasons that HQ never really told me, she had proformed so well I was thinking of putting in for a recommendation,Mark whissled as he looked Sakura over, Sakura noticed this and threw a pounch straight into Marks stomach, he exhaled explosivly,"Now look Mark! I don't mind you acting like an idiot every now and then but acting like a Pervert is OUT OF THE QUESTION!", she said turning her back on Mark and walking out,"Mark... you still havn't learned have you" John said picking Mark up and taking him down to Medical, Joan turned in her chair and looked Sakura,"Did you have to hit him that hard?","You try being on a ship with that Jerk for 4 years.. I've had to put up with his attitude and, lack of respect, for that ammount of time", Joan thought about it then said,"What about the captain? why doesn't he do anything about it?","He doesn't know.. Mark acts very professional around the captain, but when he's not around he acts like a jerk","I see", Joan said bringing up Marks profile,"Well his profile isn't clean, infact most of us on this ship have had problems in the past.. why HQ ever put up with most of us is beyond me", Sakura looked at Joan, curois as to what she just said,"You mean you did something in the past?","I struck a superior officer for making a combat move that nearly destroyed the ship, we lost about 78% of the ship and most of the crew where dead, we rammed into an asteroid, it took a rescue fleet about 6 days to get us out of that asteroid", Joan turned back and went back to her job, Sakura was now more determined to get everyone up to speed, and back on track {/RP} Of course I love to add a bit of personality to my crew I also liked to add the attitudes of them

From what I've seen off the sites its out.. I was so happy and asked my father if i could get it .. then I saw the price $1,375.00!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE THEY NUTZ!!! IM/and my father are NOT WILLING TO PAY THAT MUCH FOR A VIDEO CARD!! The highest we would ever pay for a card is 500 and below! Nvidia!! you better lower that price or I'll park my Astrom right on your door step!!!

{RP} 10 minutes before the ship was ready I was awoken by a hand rattling my shoulder, I was dazzled.. partly asleep, I had a few bruise's on me but nothing the doctor couldn't fix up, My other officers began to awake as well, we all had the memorys of the battle but not how it ended. I turned toward the marines, I had a spliting headach,"Thank you",I said rubbing my head, the marine saluted then turned around,"Wait.. take this item to your captain", I gave the Marine Sargeant a code card to access a cargo bay on deck 2, He nodded and left,"Make sure they get the item, those Gammulens wanted this",I said to my 1st officer, who was now awake and was looking around. 10 minutes later "Sir!","Yes?","John has docked and where ready to go, however our sheild generator took heavy damage so we'll probably have to head to Galcom HQ for an overhaul, oh.. and umm one more thing, The sargeant said he found our science officer had passed out","Well duh anyone would pass out by the gas","No sir... it was because she was drinking",I slaped my forhead, which didn't do any good for my headach,"Lt... begin the transfer papers.. I want her off my ship", Normaly I would do it myself but I always enjoyed giving my officers challenging tasks,"Umm... Yes sir!" I watched as the Marine boarded there shuttle and took the PAD with them, however it was to large to fit in the hold so they where tractoring it,"Sir.. ghost spike","Seems we have a ghost here watching us","Almost like big brother","Now now no political conversations on this ship mister", I said winking at her, she blushed and returned to her duty I hailed Commander Elio and told him Thanks, and that his marines had a surprise for him, a gift from the Lusitania, we entered the wormhole, and left, not even realizing the full extect of damage that we did not know about I scrolled through the damage list "Lets see Reactor Pipes Coolent Pipes Reactor Rings Reactor Core?, hmmmm wonder why an RC is doing there?.. oh well must've been a mistake Hmmm Fighter asset, one damaged and one destroyed EMP took out most of the electro systems except weapons... wonderful Damn its going to take me a long time to get through this list" I stoped scrolling down the list, on the bottom was a report attached by a temperary Eng Officer,"Well.. looks like we won't be able to make it to Galcom HQ, however lets see if we can make it to Pluto at least","Yes sir!" {/RP} Sorry about the Lusitania and the Gammulens battling, I like to add suspense to a story

Freelancer, from what I've seen, concentrats*SP* on exploration.. which means.. SC you better add more systems to BCM hehe j/k FL also had a co-op mode! *on the gamespot website its been stated!* WEE! I can't wait to find some of my friends... or even parshaps some peeps here who might get it and form a group of merc's,pirates, or law enforcement and go out on the job knowing we all get a peice of the bounty Granted what I like most in a game is the exploration, fighting is ok as long as its amazing *Example, when I first bought BCM it was my FIRST space game I bought.. I was very impressed after that I bought Starlancer which impressed me more* So.. its SC who I have to thank for getting me into Space Type games btw Your wrong about some demos Some demos are out to the public for TESTING reasons.. one of those demos was Empire Earth you bought/download the demo and you where officaly a beta tester. btw SC when you going to add cool looking fighters like those in FL to BCM hehe

I don't see why everyone dislikes this game*hell its not even out!*, I find it kinda fun and humourous, plus exciting.. are you guys just jelous that the grapihcs are a bit better than those in BCM? *for now anyway* Granted.. the demo is cheesy but hey! thats the demo for you.. DO NOT diss a game or comment on a game just because of the demo, prime reason why I don't judge a game untill I've played through it. *one reason why it pisses me off when people post reviews where they say they only played one or two missions where infact they havn't seen not even the tip of the iceberg* There are things Freelancer has that BCM doesn't and there are Diffinently things BCM has that Freelancer doesn't. So its really a double edged sword there. How about this When I get the game I'll play through the entire game and post my own review here on this board and on the gamespot board =)

aye, its the manual that teachs you what you need in order to suceed in this game, the tuturail only gets you prepered for the class you want to play

How many people you know that read the manual? Alot of players just buy the game, install it, and jump right in without reading the Manual

Then why does it say 'BC Tips, Tricks & Techniques ' this has nothing to do with this forum
