Personaly, I hate it when something like this happens, I've beta tested EQ,DAoC,EnB, And now im beta testing Planetside.. out of all those games only one now has someone leaking information about the game.. Planetside Personaly, as an exclusive beta tester, this seriously pisses me off! The person who breached the NDA has a friend in beta *ok thats what they all say* but this....'child' *I can tell by his grammer* is posting pics on the board *Not this one another one* and who ever took them went to exthreme measures to make sure his name was blocked out on chat. I want you guys opinions on this, cause this is the first time I've ever run up against someone who broke the NDA. This has been bothering me now for the past 3 months How do you become a beta tester here anyway?

anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours max. Thats my experience anyway it also depends on where you deploy it I think

Personaly I trust reviews ever sense the one review he made about the TI that was complete bullshit Im going to get the FX and review it myself I don't trust people have grudges against Nvidia cause all there mission goals are to ruin them and made them look mad For example in one of the sound tests that they said they did on the FX, well I was very suspious, if you listen closly and have access to some type of sounds controls *IE like thoses I have at my school* then you'll know the sound is NOT that of the board its that of a small vacuum. So I beleave he lied about the sound test, but then again who knows maybe thats what it sounds like.. or maybe not.

Just defeated the game.... nomads are tough and presistent I can say that for sure, you kill 1 and 5 more appear out of no where.. however sense they don't have sheilds your best opition is to use high damage hull weapons (IE like the Ripper MK 2) btw.. The ending... ooooooooooh the ending is just crying out to be a sequal. I don't know about you people but I have this strange feeling there'll be a sequal to this game somewhere down the road, maybe in the next 2 or 3 years who knows.

Most us who play roam uasuly go Gummy... AHEM! Gammy hunting First off though.. and its a suggestion when you start off deploy your mining drones on the nearest planet with alot of rescorces *In the case of earth you would go to the moon* and leave your ship there =) I've found that if you leave your ship at the moon *Make sure hold is on* and take a shuttle out you can sometimes get cargo pods and sell whats in them becareful though, if you get an illigel item and dock with a legal station you get a fine not a good thing anywho I hope you enjoy your stay in this wonderful community with our most respected SC!

Claoking to attack a station is a no it all really... everyone who has attacked a station *in a carrier* knows to cloak or else they'll lose the battle REAL fast = however becareful when cloaked if your meter reachs 100% then your crew will start getting radiation sickness.. *I think it was 100%* Most of the time once the meter hit's 75% I break off and decloak *A certain distence from the

nope had some other ship with me lets see 2 fighers, a frighter, and 2 heavy fighters I took out most of them with Torpedos =)

Sorry people but someone already asked this "Will joysticks work with Freelancer" The answer was no And no this is not a sequal to Privateer, if you watch the intro you'll know that its a Sequal to Starlancer *Ahh starlancer.. I still play that game hehe* Im already on mission 11 =) and man... lemme tell you this.. it took me 18 hours to get to mission 8 and im only level 14 = but thats understandable.. each time you level you get a new mission from the boss *Juni* and during that mission you level up some. When ever you level up you know you'll be able to get a new ship.. currently im flying a bounty hunters ship. btw Suggestion DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE ENEMIE!!! This is one game that I've learned this the hard way I had to take on an entire fleet of Rienlend*SP* ships *one battleship and 5 cruisers plus a large squad of fighters* and lemme tell you.. it took me 7 tries to finialy get that part of the mission overwith. Its not easy, the BS and CS turrets can rip your fighters to shreads in under 4 seconds if your not careful. The AI here is very good I might add.. rather interesting BTW and no you don't need to take a mission in order to earn credits and continue You can find discoverys in the systems near you each discovery grants you a BIG bonus to your net weath. Plus you can do trade runs.. just go to each station *Time consuming but hey it works* and buy low and sell high =) *Just like in BCM* plus becareful in this game. I have taken trade runs and I've learn the hard way to always have an armed transport, cause the pirates that attack you are about 4 levels higher than you and that happens about 75% of the time *Giving a 25% chance of the pirates being your level or below* This game does require stratigy and intellilect.. the later missions will require you to out think your oppeneant and to out manever him. For once Never take on a cruiser alone Never take on a Battleship alone If your good enough to take can on 9+ fighters at once *Like me.. had to in a mission* the mission commision automaticly sends in reinforcements if the amount of fighters exceads a certain about, that amount of set by the mission itself and its difficulty factor. The graphics,gameplay and everything else about this game is preatty good only wish you could fly a cap ship, but my tastes are more for commanding a small unit or squad of fighters, I like that better I dislike having to much responsibility but then again it'll happen sometimes later in life so it can't be helped ok enough of my rambling just my 2 cents

Hehe oops sorry after a resent little arguement I got into in one of the corps I've had little interest to return to the boards The arguement was over a little misunderstanding about a post I made.. the corp thought it was a Racist post but when Wolfpack looked at it they agree'd that it WAS NOT a racist post but it didn't matter the corp I was in asked me to take a few months off and to not return.. thats fine by me =) besides another corp invited to join them, they warned me about this corp but I didn't listen..
