  1. Yes, I know I'm never seen, but I am still a lurker. And I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced. But I'm sick and tired of companies releasing their games before they're done. MOO3 was delayed way too many times, and when they released it, it was obvious that it was released because of popular demand. and it sucked. Then there's Star wars Galaxies, released without MAJOR features. I think the only reason anyone still plays SWG is because it's Star wars. Every time I read one of SC's posts, I usually muter to myself, "This is how developers should act." If you can perfect this game, perfect it. I'll wait, I'll buy it once it hits the shelves. It's worth it to receive a perfect game later, rather than a bug riddled game now.

  3. Lakeela, it sounds like a memory problem, not related to the game, especially if your reboot is random. I had a similar problem when I made my computer a while ago. After running for a couple hours, my computer would reboot, and the reboot would be unrelated to what I was doing at the time. I realize that your said your reboots occur in game, but I can't help but notice that I've had to deal with similar sounding problems Try running another game to see if the reboot occurs in that one (Who knows, it could be related to memory usage). If your computer ever starts rebooting randomly, regardless of what you're doing, then replace your memory. Mind, I could be completely wrong, but when I had that problem, it confused me to no end, and I would have liked advice like this. Either way, good luck at finding the solution. /Stad
  4. What I think would be interesting is the ability to jury-rig components to your ship that wouldnÔÇÖt normally work on that specific ship class. For example, as the commander on an unarmed transport, you can buy a single gun, or externally mounted missile launcher, or even an entire weapons system, and have your engineering crew jury rig it into place. It wouldnÔÇÖt be as functional as if your ship were designed to accept the system, but it might be better than nothing, if you decide not to implement upgrading to an entirely different ship class. The same aspect would work with artifacts, and ships that canÔÇÖt use them, like super carriers. You could buy the artifact, and have your CE just sort of jam it in somewhere, and cross your fingers. And another random thought, the ability to claim planets. It would be cool to be able to deploy an ODS and vigorously defend your new territory. /Stad
  5. The Suicidal Insanity. Heh. I've got a little story behind mine. It's refered to only once in the book, The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Any game where I could name my ships, the strongest ship (ie, my flag ship) was always called the Suicidal Insanity. It started as a joke, but grew to a tradition, which I continued in BCM. /Stad
