Is this what democracy has come to? It's all going to be just another dog and pony show. Perhaps we should get Mark Burnett of the reality tv show fame to script the entire thing. From the looks of it, there would be no difference.

Cool video, but feels a bit claustrophobic. Definitely has the cartoony edge to it. The inside-the-ship part reminded me of a 3D version of Robotron. Looks like the planetside stuff only occurs in a small area too. I'm still waiting for the Ultimate Space Sim, but for now, what has come out of Derek's brain is the closest I've gotten.

The last console game I owned before going to PC's was the Intellivision, so that should tell you something. Once I played games on my C64 I never looked back and the Amiga only reinforced the idea that PC games were more to my liking. I did manage to get the Dreamcast also (which I still have but don't use). I did enjoy SSX3 and Burnout2 on the Xbox so it's not all that bad, but after trying all these flavors I still prefer PC games. As for Fable, yeah Molyneaux is a gaming god, do you know if there are plans to release it on PC?

So the buck stops with Kerry huh? Cause and effect. Was our government in any way responsible for these unnecessary deaths? How about the military command, are they responsible for the lives of their men? What about the media for running the stories and airing the hearings? How about the captors that held them and pulled the trigger, are they responsible? There's plenty of blame to go around if you really want to go there.

Geez and here I thought that link was going to present something new. Kerry voted against the 87 billion for two reasons, the first in his own words: "It is imperative that we succeed in Iraq. But to do so, we have to tackle the challenge of rebuilding Iraq an effective way, not the Bush AdministrationÔÇÖs failed way. We need a detailed plan, including fixed timetables and costs, for establishing civil, economic and political security in Iraq." Let me paraphrase, rather than throw money at the problem let's address it in a fashion that will ensure the money we do spend gets put to right and proper use. One that will bring an end to the problem and avoid another 87billion next year. His second reason was because an amendment he offered that would diffuse some of the cost of the 87b by temporarily repealing the tax cut for those making over 400k a year, was voted down and did not become part of the bill. Think about that for a minute. Our politicians felt it was more important for the richest people in our country to retain their tax cut than it was to fund our troops in Iraq!!! So while the Reppies whip everyone into a frenzy about how Kerry voted against sending body armor to our troops no one stopped to ask what the hell our troops were doing there without it in the first place! (No it's not because Clinton gutted the military, that's another topic) They were there without body armor because Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Armitage and Rumsfeld tried to pull this off "on the cheap" and failed to draw up adequate plans and funding for the invasion before the actual invasion! Who's BS'ing who now?

This is fairly evident in the rise of the number of terrorist attacks worldwide since we blasted Afghanistan and Iraq. Now this may be a good thing in that it's rustled them out of their hiding places so we can get a clear shot at them, or we could have opened pandora's box. As for terrorists wanting Kerry, that's hyperbole, I don't think they care who is in office. It's not a dems vs. reps thing because they attacked us under Clinton and Bush both. Any attack they might possibly attempt wouldn't be to make Bush look bad, it would be just another attack because they hate us and that's what they do. If anything they would have more to fear from Kerry because he would no doubt form the worldwide coalition against them that Bush failed to form. Imagine the US, Russia, Asia and the entire EU united against them, that's something they should fear.
