  2. You know what's so funny, I've been looking for a house for the last couple of weeks, and it's been REALLY difficult. I live in Coconut Creek, and I want a house with at least 4BR plus a home office for my business and in my area EVERYTHING is well over 400K, so I decided to look in the Wellington Area and as I've gone from builder, to builder to builder everyone is sold out. Hundreds of homes that are selling for 300K and up, and almost everything sold out. As I drive through these neighborhoods, I see kids playing in the streets, blacks, chinese, hispanics, all mixed together and it feels great. Hopefully these kids won't grow up with the media frenzied bias of how minorities are suffering under this administration, I mean if their parents can afford to buy them homes in these neighborhoods, they MUST be doing well right? Well, I'm down to 2 neighborhoods where they still have homes left, both 360K, both are well mixed neighborhoods where I don't have to worry about my kids growing up thinking we're somehow screwing over any minority group in the U.S. So much for "the economy sucks" argument.
  3. quote:Originally posted by Wolferz: Sheeple? Damn right! That's the way this big social experiment is designed ro work. Keep them stupid, drunk, and/or addicted to drugs,(prescription and illicit both), while the masterminds get fatter and the people grow thinner. That's why they're trying to ban Farenheit 451 from some schools, because it talks about such a society that is totally in control by the government. They try to control what you see, what you read and what you think. Information that is in line with their way of thinking is released, everything else is suppressed. We are getting closer and closer to that every day.
  4. quote:Originally posted by Cmdr Chavik: Oh I seem to remember some inspections that were going on. Yes, all the inspections. Lest we forget, that WMD's were only a small part of the issues that the UN (Not the US) had with Saddam. The UN had filed report, after report on how Saddam was financing the human Bombers going into Isreal, his constant attack against the Kurds, His constant threats to shoot down UN planes, they filed a report 400 pages long of all the rules that Saddam broke. But I know how you Democrats feel. As long as the guy says he won't do it again, that's good enough for you. Just like Willie Horton, he said he wouldn't rape & kill again... Oh but he did, guess you guys were wrong on that, just as you are wrong about Saddam.
  5. quote:Originally posted by Takvah: See I can take a comment like that... knowing that in essence it is words. Lord knows my balls dropped when I realized what it was to think critically as opposed to follow the leader. So I can't take seriously a comment like this. You can't claim to be a critical thinker and accept that Cheney won't divulge what he met energy companies about,How is this relevant? Didn't you read my post on how we are actually paying LESS for gas than we did 30 yrs ago? quote:Originally posted by Takvah: why Bush commits only an hour to the 9/11 CommissionAnd this matters how? quote:Originally posted by Takvah: why WMDs and links to Al-Qaeda are non existent. So since Al-Qaeda doesn't have WMD's then we should just leave them alone right? I mean they ONLY blew up our World Trade Centers, no biggie right? quote:Originally posted by Takvah: I mean you'd have to be mildly retarded or extremely gullable to just accept this fascist rhetoric right.... right.... guys? *Throws up hands* Actually, you would have to be Mildy retarted to think that Saddam was a cute lovable dictator, who just wanted the best for Iraq & the world. He broke every rule that the UN laid down as a condition of his surrender, and the UN did absolutely nothing about it. Somebody had to stand up to him. I know that you are too afraid to, but luckily W isn't.
  6. quote:Originally posted by Takvah: Oh so you have an ability to post everyday but you have to differentiate posts because you run a business? So I'm less than you? You have to be kidding me.. I've seen you post here almost every single day... you're a regular... please spare me the building yourself up BS. Later on. are you talking about. This is the last post that I did before today's posts, which was 2 days ago. What I said is that I run a business so I don't always have the ability to stay on top of every single post after I make one. If you take a look at my posts, they are in response to INDIVIDUAL posts, that were placed AFTER my last one. I've ALWAYS posted this way and will continue to do so, unless Mr. Smart says otherwise. If you don't like the way that I post, then TOUGH. Though personally, I think that the real reason you are so PISSED is because my retorts to your silly arguments make you look like a RETARD, and since you can't argue with me on an intellectual level, you resort to personal attacks, though 2 can play at that game.
  7. quote:Originally posted by Takvah: Darkling I suppose you have a problem formulating a point... otherwise why all of the posts? Thanks for playing anyway, your Rice-A-Roni and your LazyBoy are at the door. Well fortunately for me, and I guess unfortunately for you, I have a business to run, so I won't post for a few days, pick up where I left off and answer each post individually, instead of going through all the post and then doing one big one at the end. Bush Please, Clinton got LUCKY, this wasn't cause by ANY of Clinton's economic policies, it was caused by the Internet Bubble, which promply burst shortly before Clinton left, remember that Bush actually wasn't sworn in until; "2001-01-01 4.2 - President George W. Bush" Which is when the Internet Bubble Burst started to become apparent. Over 10,000 jobs in that sector disappeared and it had NOTHING to do with exporting jobs, these companies just simply shut down. People foolishly thought that since Al Gore CREATED the internet, they would all be billionairs. quote:Originally posted by Takvah: We could also discuss the oil markets and how Bush's affiliations with oil companies are slowly being exposed as detrimental to the nation. We are being gouged. We are being Gouged? Let's see, when I was about 12 years old, and Min. Wage was 2.50Hr. Gas was 1.00 to 1.25 per Gallon, and about 25% of that was taxes. Today, Gas is between 1.60 to 1.90 per gallon and 50% of that is taxes. In addition, cars today get TWICE the milage that cars used to get, so compared to average pay in the US of $35000.00 per year. we are spending FAR LESS on gas than we used to. Don't beleive me? Do the math.[/QB]
  9. quote:Originally posted by Jaguar: The loss of 3 million jobs, WTF are you talking about? The problem these guys have Jag is they don't take the Dynamic nature of our economy into consideration. K-Mart cut 100,000 jobs, so that's all they see. Of course they don't see the fact that 99% of them were hired THE FOLLOWING DAY by Walmart, Target, Nordstroms, and a string of other Retailers that have been HUNGRY for new employees. People just don't seem to realize that Jobs change all the time. Should we lament the fact that Candlemaking used to employ 10% of all manufacturing employees and now they make up less than half of 1%? Things change, Jobs change, get over it.
  10. quote:Originally posted by Takvah: Let's not even get into the plunging dollar or the loss of 3 million jobs. When Bush said he wanted to put willing workers (ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS) together with willing employers (CHEAP ASS CORPORATIONS) that's when I knew he was no CONSERVATIVE. You that are conservatives should seriously take a look at policy (expanding government, loosened immigration, jobs shipped overseas) and determine if CONSERVATIVE is a term that even applies to Republicans anymore. I read these kinds of threads and the parroting of partisans and I am left to wonder, do people THINK anymore?Do YOU Think anymore Read my above post and you tell me.
  11. quote:Originally posted by Race Bannon IV: Stop trying to hold up Eisenhower and Lincoln as examples for modern Republican thought. That just doesnt wash. Niether would consistently align themselves with corporate america, standing on the shore waving goodbye to good jobs while they are shipped overseas. One of the reasons that Reagan lowered the import taxes in the first place was because of the way that Inflation was destroying our economy. So what, you would rather have the 12% unemployment that we had during the Carter years? Are we so greedy in the U.S. that we won't settle for having the Largest homes, Bigest cars, most highways, most entertainment, most disposable income, most highways, parks, recreation, hospitols, EVERYTHING here is the best, and even the lowest paying jobs gives you a better life than you would get in almost EVERY other country in the world? We're not satisfied with that? It's impossible for us consume more resources than every other country in the world combined and at the same time NOT export jobs. Where is all of our stuff going to be made? If we stopped exporting jobs, the only thing that would happen is we would go back to the days of Stagflation, is that what you want? The factory doesn't export jobs they simply shut down, there that's better. So back to the original point, yes Republicans tend to do what is for the greater good, not what's good for a few special interests. Let's see should we continue with our protectionists policies that encourage inflation and high unemployment, or should we risk yet higher unemployment in the short term for lower inflation which leads to lower interest rates, higher stability, job growth and in the end a better standard of living? That's the question that Reagan had before him when he first got elected and I think he did the right thing. Just like Lincoln, he wanted to do what was right for the country, not necessarily what was right for a few individuals. Carter knew what needed to be done, but he didn't want to do it for fear that a few people would lose their jobs. We had 12% unemployment back then, today it's around 5%. 4% is considered full employment, since you always have around 3-4% changing jobs, so the real unemployment rate is 1-2%. If we passed a law today that says "All jobs must return to the US, THERE WOULDN'T BE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO FILL THE DAMMED POSITIONS! Which would lead to a shortage of goods, which would lead to inflation, which would lead to higher housing costs, which would lead to the economy crashing, which would lead to high unemployment.
  12. Sounds cool, maybe what you could do is create a scenario that has several Mobil Forward bases over short distances and have a battle rage to capture as many as possible.

  14. I Had E&B for a couple of months, but got bored with it. The lack of PvP really turned me off. I remember thinking to myself, why not just have Police or something, so if you get blown up, the cops come and kill the bad guy, but no, instead they installed "Stadiums" for PvP. That was stupid. Had SWG for a while, but I cancelled that, Maybe rejoin after Space Expansion comes in.
  15. One of the things that I like about Ebay is that everyone rates the people that they've bought from. Heck it's not hard to see that if someone has sold over 1000 items and has kept 99% of those people happy, then you shouldn't have a problem with them. Just make sure you don't buy from someone with a low rating and you should be OK.
  16. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: Some of these people just can't be bothered with actually doing the work of actually playing games they review. They want to jump in, make some braindead notes, jump out, write a review, get paid. Pathetic. I had posted previously that the "Average" Journalist earns less than 30K per year, and it's no wonder. With a work ethic like that I can see that they are overpaid blowhards.
  17. quote:Originally posted by Race Bannon IV: Liberal became a dirty word when it became clear they would try to speak for those who couldnt speak for themselves. Conservatives feel comfortable demonizing people who lack voice and dont vote You mean like the unborn children they are trying to protect? Or do you mean like the Black voters that Republicans have pushed for freedom for? Or do you mean how Republicans made it possible for women to vote. Or do you mean how Republicans made it possible for Non-Landowners to vote? Face it, Democrats try to keep everyone dependant on the Government as they expand the government. This way it keeps them in Power and control. Democrats ruled the Congress for what 20-30 Yrs .. longer I think, I don't remember, but what did they do? Reagan came in with Gingritch and Friends, who you love to demonize (just as you say that WE demonize everyone) and all of a sudden MORE MINORITIES than EVER ented the Middle Class. Surprise, Surprise! quote:Originally posted by Race Bannon IV: They play upon the fears of Americans and give them a face, (normally one that doesnt look like them) to focus thier fear and hatred upon.I'm not sure if you just like to make this stuff up as you go along or if you're trying to follow the Popular Media Frenzy of Hating Republicans, but please give ONE example of this type of behavior so I know what the heck it is that you are talking about. quote:Originally posted by Race Bannon IV: The Republicans have moved beyond the message of choose us we are better to destroy the Democrats. They would have people believe that anyone who disagrees with them is evil and should not be allowed to live in this country.Oh you mean like the proposed Amnesty program that Bush has for immigrants, even though most minorities tend to go to the Democrats? Yes a fine example of how we want to DESTROY them. quote:Originally posted by Race Bannon IV: As far as our different beliefs let me discuss just one. I am pro-choice. However, I am against abortion as a form of birth control. i oppose late term abortion. I am against abortion because was raised Catholic. As a teen ager I made the mistake of binging a life into this world without the sacrement of marriage. I was forced to make the choce (at age 19) between an abortion and being a young parent.I had to convince my girlfriend to have the child. I quit college and joined the USAF. For me it wasnt a hard decision. However I feel there are some situations where abortion is the best choice. Rape, Incest, threat of death to the mother. Did you know that a rapist in this country has parental rights if his victim gets preganant? There is legal precedant that supports this situation. While those are the only situations that I would even CONSIDER, abortion, I am called a baby killer. That is the lack of diverse thought I referred to. Unfortunately we live in a world of grays, there are very few issues that are black and white (no pun intended). as far as differnce on the so called " planks" of the Democratic party, many of us do not agree with all those positions, just as 'm sure ALL Repbulicans dont agree with the entire GOP platform. Our tent is bigger than yours is. The problem is that you want to throw out the Baby with the Bathwater. OK, so I would make exceptions for things like Rape, Incest, Life of the Mother, but let's face facts. The VAST Majority of people that have abortions do it solely for convenience reasons and nothing more. Only about 1% of all abortions involve Rape, Incest or Life endangerment, so how does your party explain the other 99%. You claim you are Catholic, well so am I. Are you saying that all of these other kids lives should be "sacrificed" on the alter of economics?
  18. quote:Originally posted by Cmdr Chavik: quote:Q. When does personhood begin? A. The Bible indicates that personhood begins when a baby emerges from the motherÔÇÖs womn. In the Bible and in modern life, birthdays are observed on the date of the babyÔÇÖs emergence from the womb. The precise moment of the beginning of personhood is when the baby takes its first breath. I tend to not trust articles with misspellings in them. True.. Also, another interesting note. The procedure involved in "Partial Birth Abortions" requires that the doctor take deliver the baby up to the neck, where many times the baby will draw a breath, while the doctor sticking a needle in the back of his head to suck out his brains. I wonder what this "Pastor's" take on this is.

DonÔÇÖt you admire the anti-abortionists for being motivated by reverence for life? A. ThatÔÇÖs not their main motivation. Their main motivation is revenge. They want to see pregnant teenagers suffer the consequences of their sin. I have seen the evil gleam of vengeance in the anti abortionistsÔÇÖ eyes as they say, ÔÇ£She had her fun; now she has to pay the price.ÔÇØRevenge? I want to see Lives saved for Revenge? OK.

  22. Just DL the Demo for X2 and I've got to say the game looks pretty cool. Used the Profiler on my Logitech Dual Action to remap some of the controls to make it easier to fly and use the onboard computer and it eases the coplexity somewhat. I see that a lot of reviewers have the same Brain Dead opposition to X2 as they have to UC ... "It has too many keyboard controls, WA, WAA, WAAA... My little brain can't handle it" .. Oh well, I like it.

Women who take the pill are PREVENTING a life from being created inside of them, how does that equate to murder. Why don't you look up the definition of Murder it's the unlawfull killing of a Human Being. A Baby IS a human being, your sperm is NOT a Human Being. Get it.
  25. The biggest problem I seem to have with those suckers is that they seem to come with plenty of explosives and damage every system along the way to the shuttles. Of course, my team always dispatches them, but not before they've damaged or destroyed several systems. ... Then again, it could be because they don't like the fact that I'm getting closer to Gammulan Territory.
