I liked BCMG and would love to play an overhauled version (UC) but since I'm relocating to Iraq soon, need to know if my laptop can handle it. I have a Compaq X1030US: PM 1.4, 512MB RAM, and a Radeon Mobility 9200 with 32MB. I realize I forfit some graphics with low graphics card RAM but I have no clue if I have vertex shader 1.1 or how the PM stacks up to other processors. I have not run a benchmark program yet so not sure how this laptop compares to a desktop (got it to pass the time and play movies) but are there other laptop users out there running UC? Thanks for the help.
