  1. I've done a search, and researched what I thought was relevant and was unable to find out anytyhing. So, here's my question: Can you have 2 player characters on the same ship in multiplayer in any fashion? Or, for example, can you pick up a pc in a shuttle and go attack somewhere? Or have a friend pilot one of your fighters? Or transport yourself and a team of friends to the surface? Or any kind of similar interaction? If you can't do it in BCMG, can you do it in UC?
  2. Um, hehe........ . That was an explore campaign.... I don't think you get a standard loadout.
  3. Oh yeah... but the last time I was on-planet, I had nothing. I don't think it was the same game, but the only difference was this was Roam and the other was Campaign. I vaguely recall reading somewhere that Commanders didn't anything more than a pistol or something.....
  4. My apologies, what forum would this go into? Gen. Disc. seemed to be the most appropriate.
  5. I searched for this and didn't find it anywhere, in fact as far as I've seen it's not possible to give your AE any weapons, right? However.... I was planning a planetary base assualt and sent everybody down (after prepping the marines) along with myself as a pilot on one of the SC's. I deployed everyone and deployed myself in the OC. For fun, I hopped out and... I had a rifle, backpack and/or jetpack, a complete marine loadout it seemed.... Am I dreaming or did this happen? If so, how?
  6. Has anyone seen a game (or heard about one in development) that would allow you to assemble boarding parties to attack other ships? I.E., you fly your ship in, attack the other one until you can grapple it somehow, board it and fight amongst the decks in first person w/ a squad of marines and everything? If this is a feature in BCG, then forgive me for the repeat.
  7. I suppose eventually someone else will pick up the torch and carry it on as well. Realism and 'open-endedness' seem to be trends that will continue.
  8. I'm extremely sorry if this is a repeat, but I did a search and didn't find anything on this topic, so if someone can point me in the right direction (or answer my question, if possible) I'd appreciate it. Anyway, I read in the news section of the site that there might not be anymore Battlecruiser games after BCG. I can understand this as it seems many modern-day gamers aren't patient enough to overcome the learning curve, however I would like to know if there will be any other projects? Or is BCG it and (aside from a possible XBOX offering (?!) and BCO) there's nothing else to look forward to? It saddens me to think that complex games like this might not be developed in the future, BCMG is my first taste and I want more! This is my first post and I didn't lurk for a while to get a feel for the board so mods and admins, please go easy on me!
