Well this proves my suspicion that the site www.Gamespot.com is mostly manned by console fanatics by this tame response about the ROTK for PC internet or lan multiplayer. "The Return of the King looks quite impressive, and each version of the game looks comparably as good. The Xbox version, overall, looks best and boasts the sharpest visuals and the smoothest, most consistent frame rate. The GameCube version is similar, but its frame rate is more prone to fluctuation. The PlayStation 2 version is certainly no slouch, and, while its visuals don't look as sharp as those of the Xbox and GameCube versions, it runs pretty smoothly and boasts the same terrific special effects. The PC version looks great, too, but a top-of-the-line machine is needed to make the game look its best. You may need to run the game at a lower resolution than you're used to in order to get the action to move at an acceptable frame rate." I played the demo at 1600x1200 with all options set on high with no problem. The only system I could see having trouble with this game on the PC would be a 500mhz to 1ghz with a crappy video card. "Many players wished that The Two Towers offered a cooperative multiplayer mode, especially since you'd often find yourself fighting alongside computer-controlled allies. The Return of the King provides this option, and it works as well as can be expected. Who said you had to play with a stranger you get together with friends or family on the internet and if that was case why even bother having that ability on PS2.

LION and LAMB Just saw this on CNN. What's you opinion. I'll throw in a quick opinion to start it off. All I can see it as is just another organization wanting to control things. Take for example the movie KILL BILL they claim because of the commercial and it's "R" rating it's marketing kids. I dunno about that. I've seen the commercial and it's just showing clips from the movie. How's that targeting children? And what's happened to the parents? Have they become dumb all of a sudden that they should need an organization like this to coach them about what their children should and should not watch or play. Besides, no matter how you market or rate the product, it won't stop a determend kid from it. Believe me I know. I use to be that kid . I'd like to also delve into another comment on their site "Just as attitudes about.....smoking have changed". All they did was price it out of the reach of kids (yes believe it not they'd still like to smoke but they just can't afford it) and in doing so has penalized the adults who have the choice and right to smoke. And all they've done is push it into the hands of Drug Dealers (smart move dumb a$$es). I know because every time I go past my local druggy corners you don't hear them just say want weed, want cocaine noooooo wanna buy some butts too alot cheaper also. Sure chase them kids to drug dealers where they can buy their cigarettes it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

America's Army. What can I say but cool. I know it's been around for a while but all the other versions didn't work right on my system. But I took a chance and downloaded the new 1.9 version 604mb download. It works great finally. Going thru the tutorials now I've done most of them and I'm up to medic training. But one thing keeps nagging at me. I get the feeling the ARMY is watching me and I'm going to be drafted!!! NOOOO... . Since you need to send the completion stats to your registered name on their web site. That was another adventure trying to get a name no one else had believe it or not no one had this name "AmericanStorm" well that's my name. Anyway, I did pretty good on the marksman training even got a Snipers Badge out of it. My favorite training was the parachute.

That's the one thing about some news articles you never get follow up reports on the outcome.
