If so put the old board back in the system and do a back up. Also make sure your hard drive is compatible with the new mother board. My msi mother board had problems with my 20gig drive and it wasn't in the list of supported drives so I got a new Hard Drive.

However my program disk only has 6 gigs left out of 40 gigs. I have games and applications comming outa my arse on that drive . With any luck, foregoing hard drive failure, I should not have to redo the OS for even longer than 6 months to a year.

I format the drive 20 gigs for the OS BOOT disk, 40 gigs for the programs, 15 gigs for downloads, 5 gigs for a Swap and Temp disk. The Swap and Temp disk is the most important since it takes all the operations that fragments the hell outa your boot disk and puts it on a disk that you could care less about if it becomes fragged up. Just go into My Computer/Control panel/System and set the windows Swap file for this drive. Also go into Internet Explorer properties and redirect the temp directory to the Swap_Temp disk. In other words, keeping the boot drive just that a boot drive and putting everything else on the other designated drives you will gain a very significant boot up increase and you very rarely need to defrag the boot disk. quote:Originally posted by Jaguar: I like my windows, I just wish there were some way to put it in memory and have it load from memory. Okay we all know that who ever did this should be shot but there's one aspect of this whole thing everyone seems to be missing. Why in God's name do they have that sensitive data on or near any of their computers that's connected to the internet!? I don't care how secure you think your computer, server and network is protected nothing is 100%. There is always going to be some little genius that comes along to prove you wrong. In this aspect I lay 50% of the blame on valve and the other 50% on the miscreant who did the deed.

I gleefully announce that in the midst of all the fracas over games and their influence over the kiddies Running With Scissors has announced that it will release its multiplayer version of Postal 2 Q4 2003. Titled Postal 2: Share the Pain. I can't think of a better game to go multiplayer . Also on a side note that Half-life 2 as for official word on Half-Life 2's release schedule, VU Games' Amy Farris backed up the developer's statement, saying, "I can confirm that Valve announced this week that Half-Life 2 will ship for the holiday season, rather than September 30th."

Well thru extensive online searching I came up with a few items of interest for me. First I did find out that the problem with my 15" monitor is most probably a worn out capacitor (capacitors are like cordless phone batteries after a while they just refuse to hold their charge anymore) heat and dry air can also help reduce the life of a capacitor as well. Second, I did find some info about the two CRT technologies in use today Shadow Mask & Aperture Grill. As for me I'll stick with the Shadow Mask. Here are some of the 19" models I'm looking at MONITOR REVIEW. Of course, when I click on HOW WE TEST link at the review site it comes up blank so I don't know what kind of equipment they used for the testing (Video card type, computer type, what kind of eyesite the tester has (does he wear glasses or not, how good is his eyesight w/wo glasses, is he crossed eyed, is he color blind etc... )) Well when I finally go for the purchase I'll check all that out(picture quality) for myself at the store.

If I didn't know any better I'd say they did this to give modders a chance of adding to this (as you have stated) but it is great that they included Two Sabers and the Maul saber into the engine. Back to the saber color what I don't understand is why they didn't make it an RGB attibute change as one Mod did for Jedi Outcast in other words you could make your saber color any combination of RGB intesities giving you the ability to pick from of the full spectrum of colors.
