I got the patch yesterday (yes i installed the 1.01.00 patch before 1.01.01) and strangely the old problems came back where I needed certain indeo codecs... and my game crashes after 5-10 mins of play (it did this before the patch and im still trying to figure out how to fix that since i was able to play normally before my first reformat useing version 1.00.40 that the game came with) I upgraded my video card and all that so what else do you think could be the problem? oh yeah and i got it from fileplanet too if that helps (i hate the fake lines that use to tempt us into buying their service )

ok i see lol well i would always let them do that stuff by themselves, guess i got lucky and had marines start with a high Ai but i cant tell now becuase I lost that save a while back oh well

I got a new sound card (SB Audigy LS 24-bit advanced HD 96khz/100dB SNR) and now it seems like the laser sound effects arent as loud as they used to be I dont know about missles tho since it always crashes like 30 seconds after i get the warning signal that there are enemies in the zone

yeah i know but you gotta admit that would be a really cool feature

Ive been looking at the screenshots of UC and I was wondering... Will we be able to cusomise our colors in the game??? Like if your a marine you can pick what color your spacesuit/armor or if your a fighter pilot u can pick the color of your suit and fighter and its markings(you could fashionably have its name painted on it's hull) and if your a commander you choose the color of your ship/fighters/vehicles/troops etc... heres an example: Say you are a commander and you make your carrier Crimson red and out of it's docking bay shoots Jet-Black fighters .... oooh and they shoot red lazers and then you decide to send your troops in with their black armor and their eyes are glowing red and ... and ...and....... see color makes things cool

BAH it happened AGAIN !!! apparently it has nothing to do with spyware bucause I deleted all of them today and my comp still slowed down.... what else could this be!? I must get to the bottom of this! do you know what it is like to build everything up just to lose it all and start over again??

hmmm interesting... well i have been useing adaware ever since ive learned of spyware but strangely I still got hit by the train (5 times) it usually lasts about 2 weeks b4 it dies again, i dunno if it's an attack or what doesnt make any sense

has anyone gotten all of their crew to 100% AI? if so does it make things easier or harder to control??? ppl have complained about this resnig fellow but to be honest he has never given me a problem (the only time was my own fault because i forgot to put him back on duty and an invader came in my ship and took out my research officer) so i was wondering if its because he had a High AI and there was some bugs with him or something??? at any rate I havent been around for a while because my comp has been acting strangely by gradually going slower and slower untill windows no longer loads and i am forced to reformat so i basically gotta start from scratch

hmm I wonder if handling marines in US is like a real time strategy game hehe. Guess I'll just have to wait and see...

I had that problem too when I started and luckily I figured it out by -5000 exp points hehe damn mercs

awsome.... theres something so smooth about the way the fighters were flying its kinda hard to explain and in some places for a second I thought I was looking at really good sprites (thats not a bad thing) good stuff, good stuff
