A new dynamic (DHTML+JavaScript) menu was implemented tonight. It was tested in IE6, Moz 1.7, and FF2 on the PC; and Safari on the Mac. It rendered correctly in all of them at 1024x768 (yes, I'm old school) as well as 1280x1024. Please let me know if it doesn't work correctly in any other browser.

Thanks everybody. If you come across any errors, please let us know. Everything has been thoroughly tested, but as in any complex program, little things can sneak through. The site is running a bit slow right now as there are still little logs and things going to help make sure that everything is in order, keep track of external links (so I can get them updated), etc. After a little while of that, I'll turn them off and get a little more responsiveness in there. Also, these are my favorite UBB smilies and they go with my thoughts once the new site finally went live, so:

OK I added the functionality to the roll call tool. There are now two buttons at the bottom (for fleet commanders). One is to initiate a new roll call, as before, but now with a "select fleet" choice. The new button is to display the results of a roll call, so that one can see the results of another fleet's roll call without starting a new one. The "select fleet" choices will default to your actual fleet, so be sure to double check which fleet is selected when you are starting a new roll call. As part of the testing, I initiated a new roll call for some of the less populous fleets (of which my login is not a member), but I won't be able to do much checking. As before, please let me know of any bugs or things which don't appear to be working.

The fleet registration page now displays only the appropriate wings for the chosen fleet during the registration process. For example, if a new player is signing up for the Spectre fleet, he (currently) will have no wing options, but if he chooses the Prime or Wraith fleets, the appropriate wings are dynamically displayed in the wings pulldown. Thanks to some javascripting love. Holler back with any errors, bugs, or issues.

Fixed. For everyone who doesn't know, I'm the new webdude. PM me here on the forums or email me directly voltaic @ thcnet.net with tech questions on the 3000AD fleets website. Try to avoid starting new fleet website topics here on the forums because I won't read them in a timely fashion and the Supreme Commander is trying to stop being the middleman for website bugs. I will bookmark this thread though and check it at least once a day for new replies. I think that's reasonable.
