Using a Cyborg Evo it seems that when pressing buttons tied to cycling weapons, cycling through previous and next enemies and using the hat mode switch, it is difficult to select a specific target, weapon or hat mode, since when depressing the buttons even for a fraction of a second the choices are cycled through at an extreme rate, rather than once per button press. The other functions that select a specific target like the nearest enemy, target in LOS or fire the weapons, and the functions done with the hat switch itself seem to not have this issue.

The 9600XT is one of the few current generation cards that doesn't need a power supply hookup into the card itself, so there's another thing going for it.

Hrm wasn't the Osiris destroyed in the first Animatrix short movie "Final Flight of the Osiris" which occurred just before Reloaded?

Just saw it this afternoon. As far as the volume of blood shown is concerned, it is a pretty safe bet that few or no films in recent history have the sheer amount spilled, splashed, projected and gushed as in this film. Also the number of 'displaced' limbs is significant, which of course occurs when alot of people swing around sharp objects. Overall a 10/10 amount for gore, but qualified as mostly blood, a fair amount of body parts, and few internal organs. But regarding the gore, it could be considered cartoonishly realistic. That is to say that it is done in such a visual style that much of it is more similar to samurai action anime than say live action movies like Starship Troopers, Braveheart or Saving Private Ryan. The offbeat soundtrack throughout much of the film and during the fight scenes also affects the context of the visual effects. Basically the way it was filmed makes it pretty subjective as to whether or not someone would consider the gore just gratuitous, or 'appropriate' in the context of the story. Also not wanting to spoil too much, but there are many different cinematic styles that are used throughout the film. But despite all the red stuff I'd still recommend this film and will definately be seeing Volume 2.

Haven't seen any mention yet of more than the 2 volumes. Dya know if there's going to be more than two movies for Kill Bill?

Any idea if the Radeon 9600 XT has better overall performance than the Radeon 9700 Pro? Seems those two might be close in price now, since the Radeon 9800 Pro and 9800 XT have replaced the 9700 Pro as ATI's high end graphics card.
