If I have the right to show off how much I love my partner, than I feel it would be an injustice to strip that right from gays. In summary, before you automatically dismiss gays as being somewhere around your average toe-nail fungus on the evolutionary ladder(uh oh, I hope i didn't spark another debate using the 'E' word), perhaps you should give them a chance, hmm?

The actual burning of hydrogen would technically work, but it doesn't fix any pollutant issues. Any combustion reaction produces CO2 and H20. EDIT: I was incorrect. The combustion of any hydrocarbon (a compound with carbon and hydrogen, such as propane, for example) releases CO2 and H2O. When hydrogen reacts with oxygen to create combustion, it should only produce water. So uh...hell if I know. EDIT AGAIN: Now that I think about it, if it were only hydrogen in the combustion engine, just pure H2, then there would be nothing for it to react with, so nothing would happen. Yeah, the shields aren't that great on the questar but who seriously gets hit by missiles? As soon as you hear they fired a missile at you, just press 'J' and thats the end of that.

I heard that the script was horrible. Let's hope they dont botch this one up too bad, cause it could be awesome if they do it right (which they won't). And all the trashy movies that have been coming out lately havent exactly restored my faith in the movie industry. Edit: Hmm. After watching some of the stuff on the site, it seems pretty neat. Upon further thinking, I'm pretty sure it was the Alien 5 script that was absolutely horrendous. The only concern I have for this movie, is that it would be kinda hard to explain the plot behind the predators, when none of them can speak english.

I think a large part of the negative reviews probably comes from the suspicion that reviewers fire up UC for 5 minutes, say "Oh, this is just a BCM rehash," turn it off and write the review. The borrowed screenshots surely points to that, I think.

You should write more of these, SC! Though to me, that seems risky and you can lose quite a few marines. My tactic is called "Four Corner Tank Drop." Yep...this one is complicated. Load up your SC's with Wildcats and Mayhems and drop one in each corner each with waypoints at the center of the base, 2 SEAD and 2 SAD. Watch the fireworks, and when enough SAMs are taken down, send in the fighters. After that, send in some infantry to help mop up the remains. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Fun!

I just read it, and although it does bring up valid points, the author: a) takes minor issues and blows them drastically out of proportion so they appear to be crippling. fails to objectively state anything good about the game As Derek said, the game was indeed rushed out the door, so it does indeed have some rough-spots (like how marines somehow shoot each other through hills). However, I have no doubt that Derek will fix the bugs and make the game as enjoyable as possible (or as much as can be done thanks to the now limited budget, courtesy of Dreamcatcher). So, yes, the game does indeed lack polish, but is not nearly as horrifically buggy and inconsistent as the gamespot author would have you believe. Unfortunately, gamespot always has a certain bias against games that aren't "mainstream rubbish" as Derek would say, and I always take what they say with a grain of salt. Though it is rather unfortunate that 1 person is playing multiplayer right now, and the fact that gamespot mouths off nothing but biased trash isn't exactly a good incentive for possible customers to buy the game and play. However, IGN usually puts up fair reviews, so lets wait and see what they have to say about it. PS: Hey! Warcraft 3 is good!

First of all, I'm a mercenary, so my "home system" is wherever the cash is. Secondly...are you kidding? I can take an entire fleet down by myself, so if I were you, I'd be a little more careful not to get on my bad side.

I get this issue fairly frequently. I attack the carrier, and blast him from almost point blank, his shields go down to 0, and hull does not take any damage after that. Also the shields won't recharge, and this is on a carrier mind you, not a fighter.

Wow, I just found the Galaxian city. I don't know if this is the same multiplayer universe as the one in BCMG, but in the unknown sector, there's a planet called Galameda or something like that. And on this planet is the Galaxian city called Utopia. I landed my ship and was going to walk around until I realized that you die when you get out of your ship on that planet. Heh...oops. Has anyone else found this? Just thought that was kinda neat.

Well, maybe I'm just a noob, or I suck at these games, but it seems like every time I stop babysitting my fighters for 5 seconds, they run off and do something stupid, like a chase a fighter thats returning to a hostile station and get instantly destroyed. So what then? You're stuck with a big, slow, weak, piece of trash (though it's cloaking trash, mind you), with crappy guns.

If you actually read the patriot act, its actually pretty horrendous what they put in it. What's worse is that anyone let it pass. And what's even worse than that is that nobody gives a damn, because after 9/11, most of the country simply became complacent bandwagon patriots, who could be led to embrace mind control devices planted on our brains, if of course they gave the bill a catchy and gut-wrenchingly patronizing name like "The Patriot Act", and sold it to the people with a catchy tagline like "For our safety against the TERRORISTS!!!" Run for your life, the terrorists are coming! I feel it is sad that anyone who actually recognizes what the hell the government is doing cannot speak out because he is looked on as a borderline heretic by the aforemention bandwagon patriots. These days, I'm surprised you don't get burned at the stake ( ) for speaking out against some of the wonderful things the government can do now, like: come into your home and search you without a warrant Tap your phone lines without a warrant Suspend habeus corpus so they can throw whomever they want in jail, for any reason, indefinately without even charging them for a crime. That's funny, I'm pretty sure that the first 2 are directly protected against by the 4th ammendment (Search & Seizure) and habeus corpus is in the constitution somewhere. But for some reason, nobody cares. Why? Because the average american is a simple, complacent sheep that is gullible beyond words, who is too concerned with getting his daily Big Mac on time, than to recognize that he no longer has any liberties. How did this happen? Simple: they pitched it with a deceptive name (The Patriot act. Hah! What a crock!)and sold us on the fact that its for our safety, and now the 4th amendment no longer exists. It's only a matter of time until they pass the "Big Brother Loves You" act, that completely suspends the 1st amendment.

Carriers are over-rated trash. WARMONGERS FOR LIFE!!!
