Problem right now is when I keep trying to send my AE to SC1 it keeps placing him back on the bridge,I have no idea why.Every person I try to put on a shuttle returns to their previous station.Well other than that I must have done somthing right.A message appeared saying I gained 250exp?I think do in part to my allocation of crew for repairs.I just got a coms message saying to watch the region between Sol and alpha Majora now and make sure diplomats are safe.Well thats all for now.
  2. Well, I got the mining down finally. Was using the training academy and launched a shuttle with myself in it down to the planet and mined a bit with the drone,I then took off for the station and sold what I had.Pretty simple actually.Just got done moving crew around ship.I noticed once I got back to my ship from mining my AE was infected.I sent him to medibay and solved that. The main thing I have to master is ship combat, yesterday I was totally trashed by a fighter or to.I noticed my PTA was effective on my port side but after a while it was completely missing my target. Finally finished it off with my main gun.Bad thing was after this last fighter attack most my ship was radiated and I guess I didnt have enough RC units because I couldnt get my men cleaned of the rads.Eventually my reactor overheated and blew up.Learned a great lesson here, dont underestimate lone fighters.

Actually, In the game Operation Flashpoint pressing the * key on the number pad activated the ability to turn your head without moving your body.In this fashion you could look around while keeping your weapon facing forward.
  4. Im a big WW2 history buff, This game sure looks good!
  5. Ok, Just got home and installed the game and its patches.Goin to take it for a spin now.
  6. Didnt see the prior post on the same subject, sorry.
  7. Now that Ill be the proud owner of BCMG I was just curious if any of you still hang on to the classics or even better yet still play them? Some classics from my past that I still own, Rules Of Engagement 1-2(2 was my favorite) Breach 3 Star Raiders (Atari 5200&2600 as well as the Atari ST)This was the first true space ship sim I played. The greatest thing about this game back then was you had the gamepad on the 5200 and ST for your computer functions-Sector scan, aft cannons, shields along with your joystick. Imperium Galictica Star Control series Pax Imperia 2(not the greatest game by any standards IMO) And many others
  8. BattleCruiser has always had a hook in my side, Ive been following the game since its initial previews and reviews. However all those first reports by reviewers of endless bugs kept me away like a lot of others.I totally regret that now.Ive been playing these kind of games since the old classic "Star Raiders" on the Atari 5200. Boy I must be getting old.
  9. Well I was in luck, Wasnt able to purchase online so I called my local book/game/video store.I was in luck they had a copy on the shelf.Instantly I told the clerk to put a death grip on it and that Id be down tomorrow to purchase it,said they would hold it.Cant wait,Id tried the Legacy version about a year ago and followed this games development for years.Tomorrow Ill finally be able to start getting familiar with it.Time to get up and personal with the maunal,READ READ READ.
