  1. Yes, that is very clear. Thank you.
  2. Well, I read them again. Based on release dates: AWA released Q2/05 UCG Q3/05 This would look like UCG is newer. Based on product description: Universal Combat ÔÇô A World Apart, UCAWA, is the second title in the Universal Combat series. Universal Combat Gold (UCG) is a stand-alone follow up title to the original Universal Combat. follow-up could be seen as 2nd, especially since it says stand alone. Based on comparision of technology improvements: AWA has more details listed, but a few are the same as the ones listed in UCG. UCG also has this line "This includes a majority of fixes, features, improvements etc." Since this product was release after AWA, it could seem that it would include all the fixes , features, etc, of AWA. The above items are where my confusion is at. UCG could be like a "collectors" edition or something that includes AWA or it could be just an upgraded version of UC. AWA could be a separate stand alone title that has nothing to really do with UC or UCG or it could be an add-on to either UC or UCG.
  3. What is the difference between the two? The press release for UCG seems newer, but the discussions seem more focused to AWA. I am looking to buy the latest released version and need to you if AWA is an addon for UCG or does UCG contain everything. Thanks in advance.
  4. quote:Originally posted by Supreme Cmdr: quote:I just proposed that showing you what unit is controllable would make the game much more intuitive. As for examples, lookie here:Oh, thats what you mean. I will think about it, because you are right, it does look informative. The problem is that considering that you can switch to and control almost every asset in the game, it could very well clutter the scene if those sort of Planetside cues were used. I guess they could be drawn based on distance from the object. Dunno, but good suggestion - I'll think about it a bit more. Instead of a visual clue like in Planetside, why not try some sort of mouse over icon. This way the icons wouldn't show up all over the place.
