CedicB.... your example 1), I always assumed, was WORKS as designed,,,,I figured it was sensor interference. as for that which happens (and it does happen alot) when heading for something, and loosing target acquisition(space stations, jump gates, wormholes, etc.)for no apparant reason...I dont know. It is like a lot of annoyances, you would expect, in ANY real life scenerio.... a Pain, but not worth the effort to diagnose..or experiment with.(in MY opinion) Sometimes, I think, it has something to do with the PTA system being activated, but it could be just as easily an incompetant Tactical officer, I suppose. IS"NT the open ended RP capabilities of UC, just FANTASTIC?....I love it!!

I dont know what your question for tech support was, nor do I know why it was deleted. oops!!! make sure, you have the latest patch installed correctly. Once, when I installed a patch from the desktop, instead of the actual game folder, I could not evac my men, nor my AI make sure TP power is allocated too.

go to tactical, crew, officers...and select your AI(commander) send him to the transporter....wait until he gets there(check perscan), when he is in the transporter.... try tacops...and transporter...zoom to where you want to plop him down, and try it. The other method, using tactical, loadout,tp, crew....should also work. just be sure to wait until, he REALLY GETS to the TRANSPORTER. watch perscan, to verify he is there. If you did all of this, in this order...I don't know why you would be having problems.

I believe, your problem is relative, to where the shuttle is, and where it wants to go. sometimes, it appears they are confused, when they are trying to extrapulate a course, and are NOT in an optimal location(due to geography, or buildings, ships or are just in the wrong geographical plane... etc) to actually plot an accurate course to where they are ordered to go. I have found, when in space....shuttle starts circling..I send it someplace else, then send it back to where I tried, to send it, when it started circling. on the ground, shuttle acts weird. I send it some where, like to space, or cross country etc. THEN, I give it the RTB order, or such. I have found: When EVERYONE's AI gets to be at 100 and EVERYONE is on station....These anomolies are not as prevelant. What APPEARS, to be true, may only be just that...APPEARANCE! After all....I HAVE been in space...for over a MONTH (Gametime) and may be hallucinating
