  1. doh! For some reason I thought I read he was able to leave the craft, though unfortunately having to destruct it!
  2. This might sound like a total newb response, but does the TACOPs allow you to use your CCs transporter to get back on?
  3. Speaking of AI growth, I had my Med Officer pilot a shuttle craft and deploy and extract a mining drone, whilest gaining no AI points. Not to sound n00bish, but i've had trouble finding info on how the ai grows. Can the med officer gain ai by engaging in combat?
  4. I've seen AFV mentioned before, and it's not in your helpful listing?
  5. because i don't have vdo card to run it yet, so i'm playing BCMG instead
  6. As to my second question, is it possible to get off your initial planet?
  7. Duh it's not UC. BCMG, the forum we're in. :-p And I don't know about orbit. I didn't have the patience to try. Next time it happens, I'll see, though!
  8. Alright, I finally found some DJPs; they're so little to see if you don't know what you're looking for, so I just use tacops. (Note: Duh, inverted caret!) Is there somekind of score system in the game so I can somehow gauge my sense of accomplishment? This is BCMG, to repeat. I recall that it's possible to receive medals; is this possible in roam mode as well?
  9. Flying ATV Ok. What I did was destroy this building and then rode atop it. It which point I was floating on it for a while until the new damage model appeared. I think drove my ATV up an angle part of this building, and pressed tilde to afteburner. I then continued to 'fly' up the angle. Hrmm. 10. I don't know if this thread would be better suited for the BCMG forum, but I'm a noob, so, meh. When starting a marine career in roam I'm placed on whatever starting base I select with a vehicle if I so choose, an ATV for example. I notice that my vehicle has no weapon, so I wondered "How do I get a weapon on this vehicle." I logged into my base and went to the tradecom, where I'm confronted with a barrage of different weapons for sale. How do I know which weapons are able to be used on my ATV? And how then would I go about enabling this weapon? Secondly, after this, how do I get to an enemy base for some action. I hear talk about using the DJP, but I can't seem to find one. These would be located near my start base, correct? Also, is it possible, as a marine, to purchase a fighter ship? Thirdly, when using the TDU, how can I untarget something that I have targeted? 11. In my version it starts at BCIA0101 Would the correct mission then be the one that is highlighted, BCIA0113? http://plaza.ufl.edu/jabbapop/instant.gif [edit] I patched the game from the CD to bcmg101.exe. I then patched to bcmg10104.exe. I patched it twice with bcmg10104.exe because the first time the exe wasnt in the bcmg directory, so i noticed the ini file out of place.[/edit] [ 03-28-2004, 09:16 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
  12. Oh boy. Speaking of which. I had a trippy dream, thanks to BCMG. It consisted of me taking a crew down to a planet in a shuttle, and then unloading an atv to drive to a mutineer's base, the leader of which was SC.
  13. I recently purchase Battlecruiser Millenium Gold edition, and have been looking through the manual. On page 126 it says to load the instant action scenerio BCIA0012. However, I can't seem to find this one, even after scrolling down. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a mispring in the manual? 14. I have the same deal as you, reaver. My system has a geforce mx440. I bought the game without realizing vertex shader requirements, but oh well! This geforce mx440 is a subpar card for a lot of games anyway, so I'll be preparing myself to buy a new card sometime soon. Do you recommend me getting BCMG to tide myself over while the time goes by?
