The answer that I am looking for is if you die, does the quicksave get overwritten.. but thanks anyway..

When doing my travels (being a scavenger) I am using autosave quite a bit, but have found something peculiar. When Im killed, I can no longer use that autosave.. I have to load up a saved position. (You know the one SAVE AND EXIT) rather than RESUME LAST. I would have thought that that was it's function Can somebody clarify how this autosave function is supposed to work, I did a search on the forums here and couldn't find anything relevant. Yea I upgraded the Catalyst Drivers and put the graphics on full whack, guess what, no more graphic glitches and no more crashing, Thanks for the help fellow Commanders

Lets see I tried the original drivers that I got on the CD, Os is a new build. Windows 2000; I'll try winxp as that is slightly a bit better for gaming. I updated the driver but haven't had a chance to test that yet. BTW it only happens while in a shuttle

Im having a couple of problems here and can't seem to find the answer. So I hope this post is in the right place. Im learning the game in roam mode and am travelling from galcom to wraith (trading). First I set my FP with (ctrl F) to jupiter then again to sirrius. No problems with the autopilot. On return I fly directly to galcom HQ again np. This is where it goes all wierd. In station I buy the goods and exit. Set flight path to Jupiter by using the map and pressing ctrl F. This goes ok and I jump to jupiter. Then I repeat the same t sirrius and guess what Earth seems to be locked into the FP. Can't clear it. Only way to clear it is land on My shiny new megaron and fly to wraith. Is there something that I am doing wrong here? 2. I want to join a fleet, big fan of fleet games (oops Im a DarkSpacer) Do the fleets allow noobs such as myself. I would think it is a good learning tool. and Which fleet would take me. I live in the UK if that helps.

Im running RC7 at the moment and have been able to replicate this twice. New game in roam mode land on a planet (earth) get in shuttle go to galcom hq loadup with goods exit galcom jump to jupiter when entering jupiter my graphics go all wierd can see all the controls but it looks almost like colored paper in front of me. Im running a radeon 9600 with 256meg ram on it any suggestions. haven't tried a fighter yet.
