oh jesus...
I hate to say it but the day that a nuclear power is wiped out by a coalition of prissy pretend muslims is not coming soon. sadly, syria (along with a province of syria that the entire world calls lebanon) and iran couldn't "wipe out" israel because they have this crazy desire to not see damascus, beirut, and tehran become radioactive piles of rubble overnight (does anyone believe the IDF ISN'T just waiting for an opportunity to push those buttons?)
if you want to know if a new world war is coming, start by asking these questions:
1. is there someone who thinks his army can take on the entire world
2. is the rest of the world afraid he is right?
3. are his desires (the foremost of which is certainly money/power if 1 + 2 are yes) satisfiable through any means other than war?
note, the money/power acquisition is necessary or else you have a long running conflict, NOT a war. hence Israel v. Allah will never erupt into war since neither side cares for economic gain more than seeing the other dead.
umm, ok, that's hard to follow, so I'll simplify, the people of the levant region want to kill each other, they don't want war, just death. and nobody who matters wants to see war in israel, so what do we have? just more killing each other.
World War I is the last war we'll ever see fought because of non economic reasons. every war since and planned has the potential for worthwhile tangible benefits to everyone engaged. ask yourself, what's worth getting 10 million of your people nuked for? (in terms of their tax revenue of course)
