Well obviously But there is one problem. Say when the shuttle catches you in its tractor beam, your solar panels are facing away from the sun? Then you have no power, and both life support systems shut down. Then your in massive trouble, and reality hits you, hard.

What are some commenly used repair items besides minerals, tools, droids, and FC/SC/OC repair kits? I just sold my spare parts to finish upgrading my Firestorm, and now I have enough money to buy the spare parts back.

OK, try using my method. When you find the cargo pod, make it your target. Then, under the menu that you get when you click on your ship's picture, click Current Target, then the shuttle you want to collect it with.
